Hello sir, i would like to bring to your notice that i had fixed deposit with hdfc bank, one day when i visited the branch the representative from hdfc life approached me and told me that instead of keeping fixed deposit with the bank you buy this policy, which will give you yearly 15% return and told me that you can withdraw your money anytime you want and even at the end of first year when i found that instead of giving 15% return there reduction in my capital of almost 30%, i told them to cancel my policy, but as you know their representative again asked me to not withdraw the money instead continue with the policy as by second year you will start getting return on the policy. So i trusted them and let the deduction happen from my fixed deposit account. Now that due to covid-19 i do not have any job in my hand and no income to survive, i asked them to refund me my remaining money, they are telling me that you cannot do this, instead you will have to pay the installment. Now that i need money to satisfy my hosehold needs and pay my bills, i wrote to them to refund me my money back so that i can meet my needs. Below are the emails that i wrote to them, but they keep on insisting that you pay your instalment instead.

Hello sir,

This is last time i am writing you this email, otherwise i will be left with only one option of going to grahak suraksha for this matter. I request you to refund me my left over money rs. 73880 since it is a loss of over 30% in my principal amount. Instead of giving a return of 15% per year there is loss of 30% in two in years in my principal amount.

For your kind information i would like to tell you that i am a lifetime member of grahak suraksha.

Thank you

Hello sir,

Seems as if you are intentionally not replying to my emails. I request you to repay me my rs. 73880 as you are not working on any options that i had asked to you, either to convert this policy to one time payment if you want to keep the money for full five years period as i have no income and no job in hand. Hope you would understand the situation or i shall move to grahak suraksha as due to misleading by your representative i have to suffer huge loss, i was happy with my fixed deposit with the hdfc bank.

Thanks you

Hello sir,

Seems as if you are intentionally not replying to my emails, all i want is my money back rs. 73880, as you have left me with no other option. I gave you the option of changing it to one time investment for 5 years which you are not happy to convert and i do not have further income to pay your instalments as i do not have job in hand. When i was forced to purchase this policy by your executive, i was told that there will be 15% yearly return, but what i am able to see is markets have gone up from 8800 nifty to 11500, there is mere loss in this investment, so please refund me my rs. 73880.

What i could make out from your emails is that you want to eat up all my hard earned money. It was your representative who took me to the wrong direction of investing in this fund, instead i was happy earning fixed income in fixed deposit with hdfc bank. Now i have decided that you please refund me all my money of rs. 73880, which is left as there is huge loss of rs 26000, instead of giving the return of 15% per year, there is huge loss. So i request you to pay me back my hard earned money. I had given you the option of converting this to one time investment, but you are not willing to do so that even and at the end i am left with no other option rather than withdrawing all my money back or i will have to go to customer care (Grahak suraksha). As in present condition of covid-19 i do not have job and money in hand to make further investment, so please pay me back my hard earned money of rs. 738820.

Thank you

Hello sir, as i stated in my email that my current job is gone and there are no chances in near future that i will be able to make that much money now. I have some concerns regarding your answer, when i am asking you to shift my money to any other one-time policy, why you peoples are not doing that, in that way i will be assured that my money is safe with you, i have had a similar experience in past also, where all my hard earned money became zero. Right now here i want to what will happen to my money if i am not able to make further payments, will all my money become zero??? Also in future if i pay the money in this policy, i want to make sure that there should not be any late payment charges or other hidden charges as due to this covid-19 situation majority of peoples have become jobless as you might well understand. If such is the case then i would like to withdraw all my money of rs. 73880 back, as in fd in two years i might have had at least 6% return and all my money of rs. 1, 00, 000 would have been safe. Also regarding the policy purchase, i was happy with my fd with
