altec lansing — defective product sold

I have got a speaker from amazon (Order#[protected] and after a couple of days, the product was dead after using a couple of times, i tried contacting the seller which turned to be useless, i googled the manufacturer details, the phone number never works and after multiple emails they gave an address to return the product and mentioned that they would give replacement. I shipped the order and now there is no response from the manufacturer, my money is with the seller, the product is with the manufacturer.
