Amar Chitra Katha — Refund subscription amount

Though i had subscribed for free subscription of amar chitra katha for a period of 6months after 6months my bank account was debited for Rs. 1178.82/- on 03/03/24 as renewal of subscription without my knowledge.

At the time of subscription by default auto renew option was selected by default but while renewal my consent for debiting the said amount of Rs. 1178.82/- was not taken.

I had got this subscription through Times Prime membership and this membership was taken by paying online through debit card. with this membership i got amar chitra katha membership free for which i had not entered any card details hence they cannot debit any amount for their membership from my bank account which is daylight robbery.

I sending mails to amar chitra katha but still no response. Also tried calling many numbers but some are not working and few have incoming barred.

Hence i request the consumer forum to look into my matter and help me with the refund of Rs. 1178.82/- back into my account at the earliest.
