Sir/Madam,
I had purchased an Amaron car battery for my Maruti Alto vehicle, Serial No. FEG9630X114909, with a warranty period of 72 months (Warranty Card enclosed for reference).
The said battery became defective within the warranty period. As per procedure, I contacted your customer care on 26TH August 2026, and on the advice of your personnel, I deposited the defective battery at your authorized Amaron Pit Shop, Moyna, Barasat, North 24 Parganas (West Bengal) on 30.08.2026.
At the time of deposit, I was assured that the replacement battery would be provided within 6/7 working days, after submission of all necessary documents. I have duly submitted all documents, as demanded from time to time, including the RC Book of my Alto car, where the battery was fitted.
However, I regret to state that despite a lapse of 24 days, I have not received the replacement battery to date. My vehicle has been lying unused since then. During this period, I have followed up multiple times with the concerned dealer but have received only evasive replies, with no concrete resolution.
This inordinate delay is causing immense hardship and mental agony, especially as the vehicle is essential for my family’s daily commute and for attending to any medical/family emergency.
I would therefore request you to kindly intervene in the matter and ensure immediate replacement of the battery as per the warranty terms, without any further delay.
Kindly treat this email as a formal complaint and acknowledge receipt of the same with a complaint/docket number for future reference.
I trust you will appreciate the genuineness of my grievance and resolve the issue at the earliest with a positive approach.
Thanking you,
Yours faithfully,
M. Mukherjee
