This is to inform you have I have bought a Panasonic TV 49 inch on 23rd of Jan, 2019 which got delivered on 31st Jan, 2019 from Amazon.in
Price of TV - Rs 53, 990.
Invoice - SCCB - 60504
On checking with agent for brand installation, he said he can do it according to my convenience. I also checked the terms and condition for installation(Amazon) where it was mentioned it can be done at any time according to customer's convenience.
When the installation guy unpacked the box for installation of the TV, he found the display panel completely broken. He shared the photos and has mentioned the same on his "Job Sheet" which was later shared with Amazon.in as well.
I requested Amazon for replacement since the product was damaged but they misguided us giving false policy statements. When we checked the return policy of large appliances, it was clearly mentioned that the product could be returned within 10 days from the day of installation.
Secondly, they were reluctant to the point that the product has to be installed within 2-4 days from the day of delivery whereas In the policy it is mentioned that installation will be done as per customer's convenience and the service will be provided within 2-4 days.
We followed up with the customer care for over 2 weeks but each time, they have either misguided or denied directly for help. I assured that the Panasonic brand is ready to help and has given all the supporting documents and proofs which Amazon asked for but they mended the policies according to their convenience and did not produce any proofs of terms and conditions, whenever asked.
Please look into this seriously and since this is a big amount please help us in either replacement or refund of money.
