Amazon India — amazon quality department not willing to respond for item thrown over the gate and damaged

I ordered garlic powder through amazon by paying online (Order no:[protected] on 16/02/2020 and on sunday morning (23rd february 2020) when i woke up, i received a message that the item is delivered to me. When i went down, i noticed the gate in open condition and found the garlic powder (The ordered item) damaged by stray dogs spread all over the car parking area.

I checked the delivery status on my amazon app and check the status of the order and found the status mentioned as delivered the product to customer and obtained customer signature. (I checked my phone call history and i couldn’t find any missed call from the delivery agent)

When i searched on the internet (By typing, item destroyed by dog) i found similar complaints from customers (Refer -https://sellercentral.amazon.com/forums/t/item-destroyed-by-dog/17684) and repetition of the same issue that happened to me is clear evidence of non-resolving of this identified nonconformity by amazon quality or customer care division. So, i contacted amazon customer - care and when i explained my issue, the amazon representative offered me a refund, but being a person who is concerned about public, i refused the offer and requested her to give an assurance that next time this will not happen. But her answer was very provocative and that resulted me to write a feedback about this issue on amazon. But i received a response from amazon 3 days after the issue, stating that they are not able to post this feedback due to their community guidelines. Also, they never expressed any kind of regret for the inconveniences happened to customer.

I ordered this item for the preparation of a particular dish (Requested my majority of my family members) on the occasion of a family get-together and due to this inconvenience from amazon (Who has the vital responsibility to deliver the item which is paid by the customer) i was forced to change the dish from the party menu.

My concern is that refund by amazon will not be a permanent solution for such repeated inconvenient and actions (Not delivering the item paid to right customer, not contacting customer upon delivery of a product, providing wrong information that customer signed for the product etc;) amazon should try to understand customer’s basic rights and expectations such as timely delivery, right delivery of items, etc and make an effective resolution (Proactive approach rather than reactive) for this kind of issue which negatively impacts the public.
