Amazon India — did not receive refund from amazon | |
The order was placed on 5 december 2019. The product was undelivered so an automatic refund was initiated. I paid partially through amazon pay balance and partially through upi. The amount paid through amazon pay balance was refunded immediately. However, the remaining amount was not reflected in my respective bank account. As per their policy on the website, it states that 2-4 working days are required to refund. According to amazon support when contacted several times, the refund was initiated on 8 december 2019. I received an sms about that the refund has been initiated on 16 december 2019. They assured the refund will reflect in 2-14 working days. 20 december was the last day of their procedure. I reached out to them and the support provided me with refund reference number and asked me to contact bank customer support. This was completely misguiding the customer as bank support cannot help with a refund reference number. Then again i contacted amazon support. This time they said i have to file online dispute form which is available online which when enquired was found there is no such provision to fill the form online. I have to reach the home branch to file a dispute form. I am looking for a simple resolution that is "return my money and don't misguide your customers". Was this information helpful? | |
