This is regarding order #[protected]. Delivery by an amazon agent, phone: [protected], pin 4803.
I got a call from this no. [protected], the delivery agent said that i had to come near him because he doesn't understand the address, i dont know what exactly had happened but later i found out he was nearby so i said to him forget delivering at home and i can walk to a recognizable spot near my home but he said he cant come there and he can only go there if it is printed on the address on my package. So i asked if you can meet me at least a nearby spot which could save me some hassle but he said arrogantly that ' you can pick this up right now where i am or at the amazon office, its only 10 minutes of work if you have a bike" and ended the call abruptly. Then i called on his number and asked if it was official policy of amazon to only go where the address had been printed on package (Since i had previous experiences with deliveries where they had been understanding and met me at convenient location) then he said he was an employee of amazon and not the customer and the company had told him to only go at the printed address. After this he threatened me by saying he was cancelling my package, it would go back to where it came from and then i would get it, i pleaded him not to cancel and asked which courier service was this? He replied you can do whatever you want but i am not coming to you and again ended the call abruptly.
This was the first time my amazon delivery has not been smooth. I can understand the agent asking me to come to him but this type of language, arrogance and lack of manners is unacceptable from any person to another, forget customers. And threatening to cancel my package and sending it back was plain wrong and unnecessary. I hope someone looks at this issue and rectifies it. Was this information helpful? |
