Amazon India — faced technical issue from amazon and could not place the order and missed to avail the diwali discounts and offer. | |||||
I tried to place the order of the items which were in my amazon cart in evening (6:41 pm) on the last day of diwali offer (05 nov 2018) but could not do it, as it was showing the message “important message an error occurred when we tried to set your shipping address. Please try again” (Attached the screenshots for your reference). Thought the issue might be temporary and again initiated to place the order at 11:30 pm 05 nov 2018, but i faced the same issue till 12:00 am of 06 nov 2018. However, i also called customer care at around ~11:45 am 05 nov 2018 to get the issue resolved so that i can place the order. But customer care informed that there was issue with my amazon app. Due to which i signed-out and signed-in app but the issue did not resolve. For your kind information, i have placed my many orders earlier with the same address with no issue at all. Due to technical issue from amazon, i lost the offers and discounts. I trusted amazon and faced the loss. I am expecting from amazon the compensation from amazon as the customer did not rectify the issue guide me properly.
