I would like to bring to your kind attention to provide the resolution of the issue faced by me with amazon.
I placed order for a mobile at amazon on october 1st, 2019. Order id :- #[protected]. An attempt was made to deliver this product on saturday 5th october. As i was not aware of the delivery being preponed and done early morning on saturday as the initial delivery date was 9th october. I missed out on the delivery call, and without my consent delivery agent rejected my order and marked it "rejected by customer". Which is absolutely incorrect legally & did not even try to make 3 retries as per company policy.
As i checked on amazon.in for the delivery status i was shocked to see the status as rejected by the customer. I contacted the customer care instantly (Within one hour of claimed delivery attempt) and intimated them of the wrong status, they constantly assured me of delivery on monday but nothing happened. Then i went to twitter hoping of response and quick help, all the help i got was "we have taken feedback and it will not be repeated" instead of any attempts being made to correct the issue.
On this wednesday when i called customer care they assured me of helping me with placing a replacement and in mail gave me assurance that they will help me with the case. Then when i called customer care on friday (Yesterday) they said they were not able to do it via the system and asked me to call back again today to place the request for putting in a replacement request. When i called today they absolutely rejected the claim of a replacement and said it cannot be processed now as the refund is issued. I have been constantly misled by your own customer support team here without anyone of them helping me out.
Sir, i am forced to use amazon pay (Inr1000) (Offer on the product) which is not my mistake that amazon credited before delivering my package. And i have to pay my credit card 1000 bucks out of my pocket which shouldn't be the case. If amazon fails to deliver package i should get the whole amount back which i paid. Which as per my understanding might be legally incorrect as well.
Throughout the week i have stressed to amazon customer care i do not want refund correct this and ship my product. But now as my order is not delivered i find amazon legally incorrect and responsible.
I am really frustrated and sad because of such a bad experience.
