Amazon India — Fraudulent Terms and Conditions for Amazon Pay Later activation offer.

I got a push notification from Amazon app that mentioned about getting "Flat ₹150 cashback on activating Amazon Pay Later". So I clicked on the notification and it took me to Amazon app. I didn't sign-up instantly, but a sale was on during that period so I was browsing some products. So under the offers section of each and every product on Amazon there was this offer- "Get flat ₹150 back when you activate Amazon Pay Later + Get 10% cashback (upto ₹100) when you shop using Amazon Pay Later". So I signed up for Amazon Pay Later but didn't get the cashback. I wasn't clear what the offer clearly stated, so I asked multiple Customer Associates from Amazon help regarding this offer. Even they were confused at first, one said after activating you'll get it but another associate said after I order something from Amazon, I'll get the ₹150 cashback+ 10% cashback of my order amount upto ₹100 in my Amazon Pay wallet and I have proof of the conversation of Amazon help chat.

First of all, I signed up for Amazon Pay Later on 07.05.22 and while signing up I was charged ₹59 by my bank for e-mandate. I read the frequently asked questions and the T&C for Amazon Pay Later and NOWHERE it is mentioned that the customer would be charged for signup process. In fact everywhere it's just advertised in big letters about "0" extra cost.

Secondly, I never got the ₹150 cashback. I have called the customer care for like 14-15 times or more regarding this. At first they used to say I'll get the cashback 3-5 days after my order gets delivered. When I didn't get the cashback after that period, I called again and they said they'll file a complaint and I'll get my cashback in 3-5 days. I kept calling after each 5 days regarding the status and always the associates told me wait on hold while they filed a new complaint regarding this and gave the same 3-5 days time frame. Some associates would say "I have created a ticket for you, and highlighted your problem" but after 5 days again I'll have to call again and explain the problem from starting to a new associate. Everytime they'll say the same things back to me and tell it will be solved in 3-5 days again and again like robots. 2 customer associates even went as far as keeping my call on hold for over 15-20 minutes and then cut the call from their side. When I enquired about previous complaints/tickets raised they'll say they'll check on it but it always seemed like none of them existed. 1 associate told me all the previous complaints were cancelled, that meant they were never trying to help me at all.
After 2 months 15 days when I called again and explained everything from start again and explaining to him what I went through over so many calls to customer care, the associate puts my call on hold and after 10 min he says to me that I do not qualify for the Terms and conditions of the offer that's why I didn't get cashback (not to mention he never said why or how I didn't qualify). I was so confused I asked him, "why would I lie about getting the offer and that I even received multiple notifications previously regarding this. So you're telling me that I was calling from last 2 months regarding this and not one or two but around 15 customer service associates always gave me 3-5 days time frame to solve the problem instead of simply telling me I don't qualify for the offer??". To this the associate mockingly says to me "Sir aapko bhi pata hai sacch hamesha kadwa hota hai, isliye aapko 3-5 days bataya jaata tha" (Sir even you know that truth is always bitter, so you were always told about the 3-5 days). So instead of telling me the "truth" they were purposefully trying to trouble me over and over.

Below are 2 screenshots of conversations with Amazon Chat Support that shows the offer did exist as the associates acknowledge it. Unfortunately I do not have any proof/recordings of the phone calls that averaged 25 minutes long.
