I bought lenovo zuk z1 (Order id:[protected] but the piece i received had heating issues so i gave it for replacement. Amazon considered it as return for refund by themselves.
When i received message stating the refund, i contacted the customer care from where i came to know that they have committed this error. So i opted for refund on that conversation.
As it takes too much time in getting payment through cheque, i asked them to deposit directly to my bank account. The executive sent me a link where i can fill up my bank account details and assured that i will get my money in 4-5 business days. I also changed the name according to my bank account in the amazon account.
After 2 days when i didn't receive any notification regarding the refund status, i again contacted the customer care but then i came to know that the cheque was already issued before i requested for the neft.
I again contacted the customer care after few days when i came to know that the cheque was issued in my previous account name which is different from my bank account.In that conversation, the executive told me that the cheque will be re-issued and the old cheque will be cancelled. And he also informed me that the acknowledgement for the same will be sent from the billing department within 48 hours.
Even after 48 hours i didn't get any acknowledgement from amazon so i again contacted the customer care yesterday. The executive's name was salma. After checking details in the system she informed me that no request was sent to the billing department. So i again requested for the cheque cancellation and neft of the same amount.
At the end she said the same thing that i will get the acknowledgement via mail, but still i haven't received any acknowledgement. Was this information helpful? |
