Ordered one plus mobile on August 8th 2020 as my phone was broke and payed the full amount too with my credit card. It took a great deal of research and wait to arrive at this phone. The expected delivery was Sep 10 which had a gap of around one month which is understandable at the time of the pandemic and hence we decided to wait till that time with the hope that Amazon will fullfill the same. Instead Amazon seller send us a package with faulty bar code and hence the same was delivered and taken back from us citing the same is not able to mark the delivery.
Amazon is saying they send it through a secure package and they cannot or the delivery partner they choose is not even able to secure even the QR code in the package.
It clearly violate the trust and the belief we had with Amazon. We called multiple times with customer care and they informed us that the package will be delivered and told us to be patient till September 10 where as the same got initiated refund from Amazon end now.
We invested around 28k for this mobile and that too was held by the amazon seller for one month. Now as there is no replacement we need to look for some other mobile as nord is currently in stock.
Don't Amazon have any liability to deliver the items to their customer they promised?
Don't we as customers have right to get a replacement if the item they send got some fault in transit?
The only answer I got is sorry from the customer service team and sorry will not answer for our wait and for the period our money was locked and the negligence of the amazon seller and the courier agency. Was this information helpful? |
