I had received a oneplus2 invite on 21st September, 2015 and tried to use it on 22nd September. When I went to the Amazon website to buy it, it accepted the invite and the item was added to the cart. When i went to checkout from cart, it showed that there is no invite attached. I again tried to do the same process, but then i started receiving message that the invite has been already used. I immediately called their customer care, who said this is a common issue faced by lot of customers on Amazon website and that they will send a revised invite within 48 hours. Even after 3 days past the complaint, no revert was received from Amazon. I again called up customer care and tried to get the issue resolved, an again the same reply was obtained that the problem will be resolved within 48 hours. Inspite of repeated complaints and calls thereof, no one seemed bothered to resolve the issue. I had to buy the one plus 2 using a friend's invite and had to pay him Rs. 1500 for the invite. After repeated calling and sending stinking emails, Priyanka from Leadership team spoke to me and assured me that she will resolve the issue and also give a cash back of Rs. 2000+ for all the delay in resolving the issue and pains that we have had to take. However, till date, there has not been any solution provided nor any compensation given. I want to officially lodge a complaint against Amazon for this behaviour and want to make sure that they don't harass the customers the way I have been harassed.
