Amazon India — order placed from the global store. | |||||
I had ordered a t-shirt for my friend considering its her birthday on sunday from amazon global store. While choosing the t-shirt i ended up purchasing 4 other items for my self and the bill came to 5k plus change. The t-shirt order got cancelled and i endeded up with 4 other items that i ordered and the entire amont was debited from my a/c including the t-shirt. I called up amazon on[protected] spoke to a rep who advised that i will have to call post 10:30 and speak to the globle store team, did the same, the rep was good on the call said that the order was cancelled and was not sure of the reason so i explained the entire situation and advised that i dont need the refund just place the order so that i get the product on time. He said that it was not possible, i asked to speak to someone higher. Spoke to a lady "swati v" not sure if she used a psudo name as she was very relectunt to provide her full name or emp id. She said that its my mistake that i ordered the globe store product and the product together and advised that the same is mentioned on the amazon website as well. Advised that there is no such instructions mentioned on the website she said that she will guide me to the info and placed the call on hold for couple of times and then came back saying that there is no warning as such on the website but the reason for the order getting cancelled is that i combined both the orders in one bill. It was a sad experience that i had with the supervisor that she was not able to answer my queries and just wanted me to accept that it was my fault because of which the order got cancelled and wanted me to get off the call. I have the call recoding of the entire conversation and i would be uploding the same on all the social networking platforms so that consumers know the level of customer service thats provided by amazon. And for my friend i will have to look for the same t-shirt from some other website because i am not placing any more orders from amazon for sure. Was this information helpful? | |||||
