Amazon India — Seller took the money but product never received | |||
I ordered a pair of earphones from Amazon. The cost of the earphones is around Rs15000. I ordered it on 2 Jan 2020 and the same was delivered to me on 4th Jan 2020. The box delivered had no wear or tear and was properly sealed. When I opened the box, I found that it was an empty retail box with no earphones or charging case in it. I immediately raised the issue with Amazon Customer Support. I was told that they need 5-6 days time to conduct an internal investigation and they will get back with results. I waited for the said time but got no communication from their side. When I contacted Amazon Customer Support in 10 Jan 2020, I was told that as per their internal investigation they product was delivered to me and they cannot assist me any further. Amazon has taken 15000 rupees from me to deliver an empty box and I can do nothing about it. Its making me feel helpless as a consumer. I am a frequent shopper and have bought goods of worth more than 2 lakhs from Amazon alone in the past 1-2 years, yet my complaint was brushed aside without any serious consideration. Moreover, the platform has the audacity to call me a liar by telling me that as per theor internal investigation the product was delivered to me. Was this information helpful? | |||
