Ambrane India — Product in warranty, Ambrane asking for repair cost 350 Rs

Dear all,

I bought Ambrane trimmer from Flipkart. It somehow stopped working after 7 months. So Ambrane asked me to send it through courier service, they promised me that they will refund upto 100Rs, but I still not received it. They provided me delhi service centre adress. So I spent 150 from my pocket and faulty product was sent to delhi. Few days after they replied me stating that I need to pay extra 350 Rs for replacement of some electronic part. Then what is the use of warranty.? If I calculate repairing cost its almost 500 and new trimmer is for 1000 Rs. What is the use of spending this much money. I request you all that please stop buying products from ambrane India.

Greetings of the day!!

We had already mentioned earlier that you shall have no coverage under warranty if the product has been subjected to abnormal use, spills of liquid or unauthorized repair.

We received your trimmer (AGK-11) in physically damaged condition in our head office. As per our technical department's observation, over-voltage was provided to trimmer which caused the damage in PCB. Hence on a chargeable basis, we will replace the pcb.

Kindly cooperate with us & pay the said amount. We assure that you will not face any inconvenience again related to the product.
