American Express India — Incorrect Fee Charged | |||||
The basic concept of any credit card is that, if you repay the entire closing amount of your last credit card statement, then interest will not be charged. However I have noticed that even though I repaid the full amount before due date American Express has still applied Finance charges on the full outstanding amount on more than two occasions. When I called them to dispute the charges, the waived it off. Just want to know if other people are being incorrectly charged too and people may not be noticing it. For a company that big, one would assume they have the systems calculate correctly. Or are they deliberately cheating people? Was this information helpful? | |||||
