I have applied for American Express card and after all document submitted, while video kya they asked for current address to be printed on Aadhar/voter card or any other government document. How can one have current address printed on these document and they rejected my application.

I request the agency to take a note and solve my issue.

    Extra charges on transactions

    The merchants are charging 3% extra on the transaction of AMEX cards.

    i.e Rs.51500/- for Rs.50000/- payable receipt.

    receipt attached herewith for ready reference.

    who will use AMEX cards if this type of charges will be imposed by merchants on cards transactions....

    SUB:- I have requested for cancellation of this policy and to process the refund on 15th July 2023. Lateron I received a call from an AMEX executive explaining the features but I was not convinced with that and requested for a cancellation.

    Do I have an update on this please.

    PS: I have recently provided my consent accepting pnbmetlife Term Insurance. However, on reviewing the policy I found a couple of deviations in accordance with my requirements.

    Premium is slightly on the higher side when compared to plans available in the open market. I understand this plan is designed specifically for AMEX customers.
    I am the person who is willing to definitely opt for “Waiver of Premium” but seems like this is missing in this policy. Sorry I could have overlooked it. As if in case of an emergency or some sort of disability, where I am not in a position to earn, paying the rest of the premiums would be a big burden.


    So mainly thinking about 2nd point, I have called the Amex insurance desk asking to hold the application as the amount was not yet deducted. However, today at 12:14 PM, it seems like the payment was done against the policy which I am not willing to proceed with.

    Its been so many days (approx ~40 days) that my refund is not processed for amount 1, 12, 216 by AMEX Insurance.

    This amount was debited from my AMEX credit card and I had to pay the entire amount from my pocket instead of the refund.

    I have been contacting AMEX Insurance helpdesk almost daily but they are not responding correctly.

      Dear sir, Not a day passes when I don't get four- ten spam mails from American express.. Repeated complaints to the company have not have not yielded nay results.. I fail to understand what this cheap worthless ccmpany gains by sending out so many spam mails. From where they buy data or steal it from I don't know.

          Hold No Credit Card since last 8-9 years But American Express showing 75116 rupees negative in CIBIL. Before to above mentioned tenure I was having American Express Credit Card, Max Credit limit was not more than 35K. I had settled down the card by paying them the utilized amount but still this bank showing in CIBIL that is not fare.

              I resigned in the month of Jan 2022 and i applied for my PF on April 2022, Ite been 3 months since any communication regarding my PF . I have neither received the money nor any communication from them . I am indire needs of funds and there seems to be no response .

                Even after several emails from my side still not received any revert from the concerned team who will be responsible in clearing my PF. I applied for my PF on 7th May and still I was not to claim it. My father name needs to be updated by employer but still waiting for a revert.

                Still, I haven't received any reply from anyone. I think either that team is not working anymore or else they want their ex-employees to suffer. This is in justice. It's been more than 120 days and I am still nowhere to release my own earned money.

                I am getting daily SPAM mails from American Express, sometimes three times a day just like a doctor's orders. They have hired [protected]@connectinboxx.com to do their dirty job.

                  I booked AE to move from Bangalore to Kolkata. At first, they gave me a quotation of 25, 000 which came to 29, 250 after GST and service charges.
                  After taking my things, they sent me a message saying they thought the booking was for Bhuvaneshvar. I said their thought is not my problem and asked for items to be delivered to the address I provided them.
                  After an argument, they sent me an updated bill of 53, 000 charting addition of additional items (1 cupboard). At this point they added another 12% GST on top of the already mentioned quotation which included GST.
                  No tracking id, list of items or confirmation was given to me. I am now being harassed by Dinesh Kumar Verma (+[protected] and Manoj Kumar (+91 [protected]). They are withholding my items. The driver says the company has not paid them and therefore he will not deliver items. Prakash (+[protected] the driver told me he has my items in the godown but refused to give it and said he will block my number if I called again.

                  These people have been frauding people since heaven knows when. They were so confident they said go to cops and consumer forum. We’ll see what you can do.

                      my credit card already closed and already paid all payments and i called like 100 times last 2 month regards noc i need which is very urgent for me but no action still

                      what to do ?

                      this is card company or cooker company .. i can not understand ..
                      also card is already closed but they did't update on my cibil score .

                      very very bad company .. to all indian people .. i am saying .. never never get this company credit card .

                            I worked for American Express India for 3 years and 7 months from January 31, 2011 - September 12, 2014.

                            I have been applying to get my Provident Fund (PF) from them. Each time, they robotically ask me to upload my applications and despite me submitting the form (I even get confirmation emails of submission each time), they keep saying they have not received my application and ask me re-upload my applications. They don't provide any solution and they just have two standard responses, i.e. they have not received my application and asking me to re-upload my application.

                            It's getting rather tedious and mentally harassing dealing with them. It does not appear that a single human being works in that department. No amount of imploring or being nice works with them.

                              I was corporate credit card user of Amex then later Amex offered me personal credit card with no annual charges which i used for 2 yrs. After 2 yrs they charged me Rs 7500 as annual charges. As i have not spend any money i thought it would be error. After 1 month i was started getting reminder email to pay the amount. Later i found that it is renewal charges applied to my credit card. They have not even sent the single email on card expiration date and renewal charges applicable for next year use. After i asked them to close the card they reversed the amount but didnt close the card. after 6 month my CIBIL score dropeed by 175 point due to non payment of credit card for 60+ days. When i inquire amex they said card is still active. Now they have closed the card but CIBIL score is been hampered. They are not ready to discard non payment of card for 60 days. My query is if you are charging individual renewal charges formal communication before renewal should be sent and should provide enough time to take decision on Card renewal. By simply charging the amount to customer account doesnt make sense and they need to be penalised for their mistake

                                This is in regards to my PF withdrawal form submission to the Company American Express India pvt ltd. I would like to bring this to your attention that i jave submitted the form on 20th Sept and i am not getting any response over it inspite of sending 2-3 reminder emails to the Pf dept of the company. I have raised this complaint as i am for a short trip in Delhi and wanted this resolved as soon as possible but unfortunately i am not getting any response.

                                    I have been chasing Ascent team for submitted application of PF withdrawal more then 70 days now. Despite of Amex accepting all my documents and given assurance that PF will be processed in 60 DAYS. Now its been 70 days from the date of accepting all my documents no one is responding to the emails ignoring all SLA's created by themselves. Working for so long with Amex was always carrying the reputation of working with employee oriented organisation so I would suggest maintaining that statement Amex should kindly look into the matter and streamline the same.

                                    Would appreciate if the concerned matter will be resolved as soon as possible.

                                      I got my corporate amex card 2.5 years back and along with that they sent one personal credit card as well. When i received that, i called them and asked them to block the card, they were like mam it’s free for one year and blah blah. I said no I don’t want to use it, please block it, which they dint. I was in a perception that it’s blocked, hence i damaged the card to avoid any chances of stealing/lost. From next year onwards they started applying yearly charges… and till now it’s 7200. Even after that i called them around 10-15 times to block the card which again they didn’t, they mail from a no reply email id. Now they transfers this issue to one or other vendor after every two months to torture me for nothing. Why would i pay 7200 when i never wanted to use this card. I asked all those reps as well, who called me for collection of this amount, to resolve this issue but they are torturing from more than 2 years. And it’s affecting my cibil score as well. I am a medium class job going women, i had a car loan which i pay monthly without any fail, previously i had my personal credit card which i used very wisely but amex is a really bad company. Due to this i have blocked my corporate card as well now. My company has also stopped corporate card for any of the employees further but i m worried for my cibil score. Please resolve this issue.
