SUB:- I have requested for cancellation of this policy and to process the refund on 15th July 2023. Lateron I received a call from an AMEX executive explaining the features but I was not convinced with that and requested for a cancellation.
Do I have an update on this please.
PS: I have recently provided my consent accepting pnbmetlife Term Insurance. However, on reviewing the policy I found a couple of deviations in accordance with my requirements.
Premium is slightly on the higher side when compared to plans available in the open market. I understand this plan is designed specifically for AMEX customers.
I am the person who is willing to definitely opt for “Waiver of Premium” but seems like this is missing in this policy. Sorry I could have overlooked it. As if in case of an emergency or some sort of disability, where I am not in a position to earn, paying the rest of the premiums would be a big burden.
So mainly thinking about 2nd point, I have called the Amex insurance desk asking to hold the application as the amount was not yet deducted. However, today at 12:14 PM, it seems like the payment was done against the policy which I am not willing to proceed with.
Its been so many days (approx ~40 days) that my refund is not processed for amount 1, 12, 216 by AMEX Insurance.
This amount was debited from my AMEX credit card and I had to pay the entire amount from my pocket instead of the refund.
I have been contacting AMEX Insurance helpdesk almost daily but they are not responding correctly. Was this information helpful? |
