Our seniors are given fake placement assurance. Hod is not good. He is not good speaker. He struggles to speak in english with us in campus and also in class.. So how can he have good relation and support for us with friends in other college. Coe is worst dept. Not proper land area. No approved courses. No companies come except for marine. Amet university is running fake diploma courses in mechanical, naval arch, amd many more.in recent ugc inspection they have suspended diploma clases and said diploma students lie that they do not have enough classrooms and they are charging more than 1.5 lakh for diploma please report to ugc. we are studying under dg shipping so we must do residential course here.
we are staying in campus hostel and eating the college providing food.
we are give about 60000 rupees for boarding and food, but the college administration have not providing good food.

Amet university is an educational institution converted from a college to university.In the name o[censored]niversity the fess they take is well above 2 lacs.
75000 rupee per semester,60000 for hostel,12000 for books.This for just one course the maximum collected fees comes around 2.4 lacs for a merit seat.On top this students are cheated.They dont have proper infrastructure facilities,poor student teacher ratio and the standards of the professors...

im studying in amet university. they are getting more fees and not providing good food in canteen and its unhygenic. while collecting fees they told they will give placement yet now they didnt give im going to finish my course better any of them interested in marine join vams good for all study , placement,food ,coaching etc...

This complaint is from a student of AMET university which is situated in the ECR(kanathur).Despite the orders proposed by the TN government tat all the colleges and universities should be closed, my institution is working.Pls publish this complaint in a full furnished way in a section in your newspaper so that the authorities take notice of it and take action.
