Dear Hospital Administrator/Concerned Authority,
I am writing to express my concerns about the maternity care services at AMRI Hospital.

Description of the issue:
Recently, I had an experience that raised several issues, including the provision of an expired gift hamper for my newborn and inadequate guidance from the attending doctor...

I had called at AMRI salt Lake where I was advised to know package about Gall Bladder procedure from financial counsellor Mr. Barun Mondal.
I enquired on behalf of my relative about the package, it's required coverage on swastha sathi scheme as well.
I was insulted by Mr Mondal on such simple enquiry.
Being a distinguished citizen of kolkata and sharing a very good relationship with AMRI hospitals, I am deeply moved in pain with this behaviour which took place on 3rd May 2024. I feel myself defamed which has maligned my reputation.

I am a patient of Oishi Mukherjee. I have done my root canal on october. But the teeth is painful now . I visited Oishi mukherjee, she give me an antibiotic medicine. But still that teeth paining. Now i m visit another doctor, he said that my root canal was wrongly done by Oishi mukherjee. I have sent current situation of my root canaled teeth. Please do something.

Myself is a retired Chief Mechanical Engineer in charge of Kolkata Port Trust. As we stay at Salt Lake, hence for all medical reasons, we prefer your hospital at Salt Lake. Your hospital is empanelled with Kolkata Port over decades for the purpose of all medical treatment and diagnostics under CGHS tariff. Me and my wife both are beneficiaries of medical facility and treatment from Kolkata Port as pensioners. Accordingly, we both went to your hospital at Salt Lake like earlier occasions on 18.03.2024 at about 2.30 PM for Knee X-ray. We went to 1st floor billing counter no 1 manned by madam Tulika for the purpose of billing. There we were told that the tie up with Kolkata Port under CGHS tariff had expired on 05.03.2024. Attached please find a scanned copy of empanelled hospitals under Kolkata Port issued by Port Authority valid from 01.01.2024 to 31.12.2025. Is spite of available notification we were denied with concessional diagnostics.
Kindly look into and revert with a favorable reply.

Dear Hospital Administration,
I, Sunandini Mandal daughter of patient DR. Arunava Mandal ( post BMT and ckd patient ) had filed an complaint against your staff member from AMRI Salt Lake 2nd floor Reception for misbehaving with the patient family member. After the complaint was logged i received 4-5 calls from the hospital administration asking for apology of their behaviour .
I'm greatful to the hospital for admitting and correcting their mistake. i now wish to return back the complaint i made.

The mention amount of pf is greater than the pf which was credited in my pf account. After 50 days of leaving the organization they haven't given my salary.

This hospital's cattering agency service is very bad.a hair is coming out of the patient's food.i request to superintendent of AMRI hospital, please take action immediately against cattering agency.

I have admitted my father to AMRI Mukundapur branch in a emergency section last Sunday morning 31-Dec 2023, since he was suffered by a brain stroke. Thanks to Dr Rajan Kumar my father survived and was able to come normalised within Tuesday. The problem has started after that. My father health was started deteriorated after Tuesday evening.
We have received a call from hospital and they informed that his condition is crucial as he has one heart attack, which is unbelievable as he was not a heart patient at all, having normalised suger level and blood pressure.
We are suspecting that the doctor has given high doses medicine, which my father was unable to consume resulting death.
The mystery is the heart attack happened due to infection of entire body. I mean, I have admitted him with brain stroke and he was recovered but suddenly why he has infected and that too within very sort period of time even though he is in ICU.

I am a senior citizen admitted to AMRI Salt Lake campus on 08/10/2023. But here everything to be done on the bed for which I was not familiar. I have to do urine for which pipe inserted which was very painful. There was no CCTV camera to look after patients and no urinal. Can a person stay whole time in the bed. The worst behavior I got on 12/10/2023 because I am not allowed to touch anything and in the scuffle one boy tied my both hands on the two sides of the cot which was very painful and insult to a senior citizen. So my relatives takes discharge of me at the earliest. I can't forget the behavior I received at AMRI SALT LAKE Campus and never like to go at AMRI.

My child was admitted at emergency yesterday with heavy stomach pain and after a necessary diagnosis he has been gone through a surgery and shifted to room 1455 of semi deluxe category and tentative cost charged accordingly but room AC not working properly which was conveyed from time to time to the management but not resolved till now.
At present I.e at 12.30 am my child suffering from suffocation...
Please resolve the issue at an earliest

When I called to AMRI HOSPITAL SALT LAKE for Dr Debashish Choudhary Neurology appointment but what they told come and visit after that when I come they are telling that doctor has gone but the timing of going to doctor was 12 o clock he has gone at 11.15am. If the Doctor will do like this about the timing so then we are helpless

I had a surgery of Lypoma on my left thigh and VIDAL no claim already approved to get release from Hospital but TPA desk of AMRI Hospital not releasing from hospital which is really so harashing after surgery.

I had consulted Dr Rajiv Sinha.I did get the prescription but the billing counter provided me the credit-card receipt as I had paid through credit card.I have sent several mails but I have not received any reply.My Uhid is AM30269583 AND ENCOUNTER ID IS[protected].The name of the patient is Prisha Jhunjhunwala and date of visit is 2nd May 2023

She was admitted to a local nursing home and became more serious. Ultimately, she has been shifted to AMRI, Salt Lake Hospital by an emergency ambulance service (at night on 17 June 2023) for diagnosis and recovery.

Hi Sir/Ma'am,

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction and frustration with the service we received at a hospital named AMRI Hospital, Mukundapur. My Aunt visited the hospital with my sister on June 20, 2023 for a check-up and was asked to undergo some diagnostic tests. I informed the doctor that I had already done the same tests at another diagnostic centre and tried to show him the report. However, he refused to accept or check the report and insisted that I had to do the tests again at the same hospital. He said that he did not trust the quality and accuracy of the other diagnostic centre and that your hospital had its own standards and protocols.

I felt that this was unfair and unreasonable, as I had already paid for the tests at the other diagnostic centre and did not want to waste time and money on repeating them. I also felt that this was disrespectful and dismissive of the other diagnostic centre, which is a reputable and accredited institution. I asked the doctor if there was any way to avoid doing the tests again, but he was adamant and said that it was mandatory.

I felt that the hospital was trying to exploit me and make me pay for unnecessary services. I also felt that the hospital was disregarding the professional judgment and competence of the other diagnostic centre. I think that this is unethical and unprofessional.

I request that you look into this matter and take appropriate action to prevent such incidents from happening again. I also request the hospital kindly refund me the cost of the OPD that I had to do because the doctor didn't even check the patient and was just insisting that I do the test then only he will do the check up and addition to these the test were too expensive as per market price, as they were redundant and unjustified. I hope that the hospital should respect the rights and choices of the patients and treat them with dignity and courtesy.

My mother was ok and I have taken her only for knee replacement... Doctor told that we will do it smoothly ...and he did also... After that they give. A blood and it's infected that body and she death... How casual treatment... Lastly I know that there is a bacteria in the blood ... Why not tested before giving
It's not justified that a patient may die in knee replacement... Al most they are taking money and murder my mother with bacteria and in blood.

**Thug Hospital in Bengal, BEWARE!!***My Father is admitted currently, i see poor co-ordination and support from management except Doctor and nurses since the day of admission.
Lack of support from individual, poor hospital technology and lack of clarification from staffs is common issue.
I have been given a estimate of around ~5lakh for surgery which now they proposing bill of ~9 lakh which is almost double plus few extra-charging in the bill which i pointed already.
I feel they are looting the innocent patient, if you could have estimated right i could have given right insurance from my end.Also they used my Father's mobile without his consent and posted 5* google rating(**Bloody CRIMINALS**). Patient Admitted for Chemo from Thursday ‘ Hospital staff saying we have no medicine stock due to March month.
We are regular customer in your hospital and taking chemo every 21 days . Every time they are saying like this taking 4 to 5 days to do . Where as it take Only one day .
Very casual approaches to patient
