My self Sayan Bhattacharyya wants to inform you that My father in law was an railway employee and he is suffering from Mouth Cancer. He went To B R SINGH Hospital for check up and they referred him to AMRI DHAKURIA BRANCH (KOLKATA) for PET SCAN. We went there on 23.03.2023 for the scan but they asked for Fasting and Creatinin report but as we were unaware about that. so they told us before pet scan we need to do those test and they arrange the same. Now the problem begins here, we urged them to take the appointment but they told that without verifying the report they can't give the appointment. Then we told them for Telephonic booking but they told as we are referred from railway so they will not give the appointment over telephone. And we have to present there physically and we have to deposit a Refundable amount of Rs.2000/- for the appointment. And have to present another day for the scan. Is it possible to present everyday for a Scan who is living 150 kms away from Kolkata ? Not only that, according to them I have sent my friend today for taking the appointment with all necessary documents in virtual mode. When the whole world is shifting towards the digital mode they are saying that we have to submit documents physically for taking just an appointment?? Why you are harassing a patient party like this ?? What is the problem ?? Kindly sort out the matter or I will file complain against higher authority.

We received a phone call from their end they explained that there is a miscommunication happend between us and they also accept their mistake and they assured that will not be repeated. And they done their job very well today. They do their level best. We are very much satisfied and happy with their resolution and hospitality. Thank you Amri...

      The incident happened on 9th December, 2022 at AMRI salt lake unit where my grandmother was admitted.
      She was admitted in OPD section under Gastro Dr. Sujit Chaudhuri where her treatment was done and discharged on the same day. But this is not the case.
      At first we went to the emergency department which was in another building as we didn't know that she had to admit to the OPD section. We we're there just for the information and they admit the patient immediately and without any consent done the blood test and charged RS. 3000/-.
      When we deny that they said that they have the doctor's instruction. We told the doctor about the whole incident and asked him if he instructed them to admit to the emergency instead of OPD, the doctor simply deny that he never instructed such.

      This is simple case of illegal money charge and if at that moment we didn't communicate with the doctor they would have charged more.

      Though we have paid the charge and the patient had already been discharged we claim a refund of the amount RS. 3000/- as soon as possible.

        I referred a patient to AMRI for CT chest. The report is substandard and missed lesion which even a non radiologist can see. Tried contacting radiologist - Dr Manoj Jain to no avail. CT reported by Suman dasgupta missed vital information.
        Radiology coordinator Poulomi kept watering down the concern and promised to get back but failed to do.
        Shambolic radiology reporting and as a practising medical doctor - I raise concern about this substandard reporting ans unprofessionalism

          Dear Sir/Madam,
          With heavyheart I inform you the sad demise of our father Dr. Ratha Nath Hati. He was ex-Deputy Director of Indian Institute of Chemical Biology. Since 2020 he was being treated by Dr. Suranjan Mukherjee, Pulmologist, Dr Ritesh Kuntia, Nephrologist & Dr. Sumantra Chatterjee, Cardiologist of AMRI, Dhakuria. Since then, thrice he has been admitted at your esteemed hospital and several times he visited for checkups in OPDs . In these two years we have never faced any dearth of service from the entire team of AMRI, Dhakuria and we are grateful for that.
          But, things changed on 17th October 2022. Since early morning my father was not well and after consulting our family physician we decided to admit him in AMRI, Dhakuria. I called up emergency unit of the hospital at around 7 AM for admission. After asking me several questions about the patient background I was asked about the mode of payment for the patient . When I informed CGHS Mediclaim, I was abruptly told that there is no CGHS bed available now and admission is not possible. I pleaded to the person as my father’s condition was getting serious. I then called up Mr Soumen of AMRI, Dhakuria (I had his no. since I had called him for previous admissions). But, he also spoke in the same tune and said that nothing can be done regarding admission. I then called up Mr Mukesh, AMRI coordinator for IICB. He listened to everything and asked for some time. Within 10 minutes I received a call from AMRI Dhakuria that a bed has been arranged. I immediately called up AMRI ambulance and we reached hospital at around 8.40 am and the doctor in hospital said that my father has been brought dead .
          My intention of writing this entire thing is that on what ground did AMRI deny my father’’s admission on that day? He was an employee of a reputed national institute. So, on what ground his admission was denied on that day saying ”Sorry maam, no bed is available for CGHS emplyees” ? In this entire 1.30 hrs AMRI, Dhakuria took away our father from us. It may be that is very normal and a regular thing for this hospital, but for us we lost our father due to this wastage of time. As a hospital how can such things happen ? If you cannot judge a patient’s criticality please close down your hospital, before any other family looses their near and dear ones due to your callousness. You are doing absolute business with patients and denying the basic services also.
          I must mention here that my father was alive at the time of boarding the ambulance. And, also that the entire emergency was empty on that day . Not a single other patient was there.

          After we were confirmed about expiry of our father by the doctor in emergency, I called up MR Soumen and informed him . His attitude was extremely bad said that he is not responsible for this. I want to know who is then responsible for the denial of admission of such critical patient? If there were no such wastage of time over phone calls and interrogations, may be our father would have been with us today and after a proper medical treatment from AMRI, Dhakuria we could have brought him back home happily, like all previous instance.

            Although I Find The Middle Level Staffs are Quite Competent and Professional - The Doctors Like Goutam Das and Rupam (not sure about his Last Name) Indulge in Unethical and Unprofessional Behaviour and they Don't Have the Minimum Courtesy To Deal With Their Patients Properly.

                  I accompanied my 7 year old kid for nibulization and I informed them that this is the first time the child go through this kind of medications. The nurse attend the child and put the mask in his face and went away without giving him any instructions.
                  Moreover they have a rediculous rule that only mother can stay with child. We requested them to allow father in place of mother but they didn't hear.

                    Pregnant patients are given priority. Other patients have to wait wether it's even emergency also. It's happing in dhakuria branch . To much unsatisfied with the services. Hope from the next time the services would be better

                      I have visited AMRI Hospital, Saltlake on 2nd June 2022 for emergency treatment for accidental injury. During the treatment they have performed a test CT SCAN OF FACE. Identical WBHS code for that test is[protected]C.T. SCAN OF PARA NASAL SINUS) confirmed by Medical Cell, Finance Department, Govt of West Bengal. Approved rate for said test is Rs. 3000/= only. But they charged Rs 7000/= for the test. I surprised that, even the WBHS Approved rate for the test MRI face[protected] is also less than the amount they charged for CT Scan Face.

                      They also charged consultation fee Rs. 500/= but the WBHS approved rate for consultation is 250/=

                        I am an ex-employee of ONGC. I visited AMRI, Dhakuria on 5th May 2022 for consultation with Dr. Amitabha Ghosh. I am entitled to get a discount of 200/- but I didn't get the discount.
                        This issue was raised earlier as well and someone called and promised to refund the money but no action was taken.
                        Please take this request on a serious note and take quick action.

                          Today I have visited for my wife to amri hospital dhakuria for consulting dr. Basudeb mukherjee (gynecologist) . I am shocked with the doctor behavior it's.. Very bad and i am shocked that as a doctor his behaviour as very bad.. His words are very bad.. By listening his words my wife started crying over there in the main building.. I am really very much disappointed that in this private hospital such doctors behaviour are very bad.

                            Respected Sir/Madam,

                            Today (18/04/22, 13:20), I visited to AMRI Hospital, Saltlake with my wife for clinical tests. I am an ONGC ex-employee and senior citizen. I am a corporate patient and ONGC has been giving a lot of business to AMRI Hospital, Saltlake. Unfortunately, the staff of the hospital misbehaved with me, and threatened to see me outside, she even stated that we are only patient party and we should not say a word to their behavior even if it's insulting because I told them to not to cut the queue and take later patients first, whereas, they called my wife's name first for the test. If this is the case in a hospital then I am afraid we as a patients are in great danger. The doctor inside suggested her staff to lodge a false complaint against me so that I will not get the scope. This is the whole incident. And I, being a corporate consumer, is devastated with their behavior they showed to us.

                            The staff's name is Moumita (Physiotherapy Department, AMRI Hospital, Saltlake)

                            P.S- Hospital authority did not reveal her surname, after being asked multiple times.

                            Kindly accept my complaint and do the needful. I am looking forward to hearing from you soon.

                              Sir,

                              I Sipra Ghosh patient I'd AM30085051 took admission under WBHS in cardiology on 16th February 2022 and discharged on 17th February 2022 after angiography and other investigation.

                              In the time of discharge there was no due slip of report, but they verbally told us, collect reports at the time next check up.

                              Thus my Angiography Report with CD and X-Ray report is pending.

                              But on 29th March 2022 when I reached AMRI hospital Mukundapur, the reports are missing in 5th Floor and 2nd floor as per nurses.

                              They asked me to show due slip, but after hearing the incident, they asked me to contact on next day.

                              But in next day they also had not found the reports, now one sister ask me the eco report then they can make a new report.

                              But no eco was done at amri.

                              In this case, I request the higher authority of amri to give me the original report because that Angiography report is very essential. And authenticate it otherwise I am afraid that I may get others report.

                              You are asked to take necessary steps from your side and give me the reports immediately.

                                Worst Exprience by support staff 7 hrs no follow by your staff team patient suffering in pain for admit 3hrs taken in billing counter when i admit my mother in dakuria Amri hospital specialy by billing counter staff madam Pampa very rough behaviour, no job responbilty by telling me lie, when i made a complain then she call me no guity felt no appology hence she me scold at me by call and with out my permission she recording the call without my permission number from i get a call from[protected] time 5.14 pm on 10.03.22
                                again illeagal activity i thing amri management must look at this matter.

                                  Hi,
                                  As you know, my father in law, Mr. Sisir Kumar Roy, was admitted in AMRI Dhakuria from 04.12.2021 to 03/01/2022 and his patient id was AM10035427.
                                  Today, when we submitted the medical bills and receipts in ECL for getting medical reimbursement, the ECL authority informed us the actual date of discharge is not mentioned in the discharge summary and they can't process it like that.

                                  We would like to request you to send a fresh discharge summary for my patient with the correct discharge date mentioned on it.

                                    My daughter came on Aug 2020 in Emergency to take one injection due to lockdown period and after inject Dr admitted and told they got attack and in ventilator
                                    I was coming daily but never allowed me only their husband allowed and on 11.9.20 I informed my daughter is no more.
                                    I am in doubly that there may be any foul play behind this.
                                    Authority is not responding
