Some caller called me in the evening yesterday and said that she is calling form ICICI bank and bank is redeeming my reward points which were expired. she said 7000 points have expired and I can redeem them. I know that I was a fool to give away all the details on the call, which I shouldn't have, but this was definitely a classic case of some phycology where in the caller keeps the customer engaged in the calls and tries to manuplate the deytails without our knowledge. All through the call, I was suspecting fraud and questioning her but could not hang up the call. I was in complete senses and trying to browse the websites, both bank and the deal @ once site and getting information, but was not in control of my actions.
It is very essential to punish such kind of people . The numbers from which I got the call from the person who projected as a bank employee is[protected] and the call from the deal @ once company was from[protected]. These numbers are continuously engage from the time I realised it is a fraud call. They also gave me a customer care number which is[protected]. This number is accessible and people are answering this.
I have also observed the same complaints raised by others on this forum and would request you to take action on this racket. I feel more of a social responsibility to get these people punished. Was this information helpful? |
