Extremely dissatisfied by the care they give patients admitted in the hospital. The hospital aims at monetary benefits rather than patient care, the staff are rude, insensitive and not appropriate for a hospital.

Me and my sister had done an executive full body checkup on 21st Dec 2020. The reports for Vit B12 and papsmear were to be sent to our respective mail ids within 4 days. Now its been more than a week. Have called up the hospital and raised the request multiple times with the PR. We were told the reports were ready and the mails would be sent asap. Not sure why there is so much delay.
    Patient num : 286912 and 414850
Ananthapuri Hospitals customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
The reports shared include the same reports that were manually handed to us on the same day along with the pap smear test for Preetha Vinay ( ID 414850) . Rest the B12 results for both Patient ID : 286912 and 414850 are missing. I have sent a detailed mail with the Bill that was paid separately for Vit B12 Vit D amount to Rs. 2420 per head. Can this be looked into at the earliest as I am tired calling the hospital as well as writing emails.

        Dear sir,

Dr A Marthanda Pillai, the chairman of Ananthapuri hospital Trivandrum in India, has won the Padma Shri award this year. Why did government of Kerala nominate Dr Marthanda Pillai for Padma Shri award in New Delhi? What are the good qualities of Dr Marthanda Pillai? What has he done for the people of India? He owns Ananthapuri Hospital and is cheating people with this hospital.
Did anyone ask him for air conditioned hospital? He built himself this hospital with out any windows.

I underwent a treatment after I came from Australia between June 2010 October 2010. Ananthapuri Hospital is a centralized air conditioned building. However, the air condition was never switched on during the period June 2010 to October 2010. I noticed that they have air handling unit, supply air as well as return air diffuser in the reception, basement and all the area where patients are sitting to meet doctors. I complained many times to the public relation manager and staff who became angry at me.

I also noticed that all the Doctors rooms are fully cool and the air condition always switched on.

There is no ventilation or fresh air in this waiting area because there are no windows. The security guard in the main door of the hospital always closed the door when we get in or out. In front of the reception, relatives of patients are waiting long time. A fan was placed there.
Fan does not give ventilation or fresh air. For ventilation, they should run air conditioner. When I complained to the staff, they told me to give a written complaint to Dr Marthanda pillai.

Ananthapuri Hospital always charge large amount of money from patients example RS 1200, for meeting a Psychiatrist for just 30 minutes. Ananthapuri Hospital should give priority for patients and not to doctors. Patients are paying that’s why they running business otherwise they will shut the business.

Everyone celebrate when they get award but Marthanda Pillai did not celebrate. He did not even say word of thanks for this award. I believe he got the award through back door.

Ananthapuri Hospital should respect NRIs. Non Resident Indians’ contribution is high in the Indian economy. Some of our people left India, which is why unemployment rate came down in India and we went abroad not only to make money, but also to help others.

Whoever plans on going to Ananthapuri hospital be vary careful. They cheated me and took my money. I paid total RS 20000 to 25000.

Ananthapuri hospital patient card no 106175

        Kind Regards,
        NRI

Padma shri award is supposed to be given to persons like Dr. J. Hareendran Nair, Managing Director of Pankajakasthuri. He gives free consultation for asthma patient at his Vazhuthakkadu office in Trivandrum. Padma shri award is for the honorable people of India and not for Ananthapuri’s thief doctors. Patients who came to see Dr. S Jayaram were all charged 1200 rs. If you not believe then you may go to the billing and counter in Ananthapuri Hospital and take a look at the pay history to Dr S Jayaram by patients. Average Indians earn maximum of 5000 rs only in a month, but Dr s Jayaram charge 1200 rs. every week. During the treatment time Dr. S Jayaram stole my ANZ Bank ID, email ID and password. You may ask him to whom he give it, to Australian spy or Government of Kerala. That is why the award came to Dr A Marthanda Pillai through back door for spy treatment.

Neeraj Bharadj is a 23 year old an Indian student who was attacked in Batman park near, Rebecca walk in Melbourne. The Age News Paper stated that he was attacked near the aquarium. Actually, he was attacked in Batman Park on April 5, 2010. The attack happened early morning. I have known Neeraj since March 2010. I met him at Batman Park when I was staying there for a couple of week because I did not have accommodation, and I was waiting to receive my tax return money in order to return to India.

Because I was overstaying in Australia, I met with the Immigration Department (level 15, 2 Lonsdale street Melbourne VIC 3001) every week to renew my bridging visa. During the interviews they told me that I was effected by PIC 4014 so I can not be granted a temporary visa for a period of three years after I leave Australia. I then asked them write a letter with their signature stating the reason, otherwise I will not go back to India without the letter.

Nathan Reich who is an immigration officer that was handling my case told me that he is not allowed to give a letter with his signature. He then told me that they will detain me if I do not go back to India. I told him that I will hunger strike at the Parliament in Canberra if he did not give the letter.

After two days, Neeraj was attacked in Batman Park, which was the place I used to sleep. That same night I slept at the part till night, then I went to Southern Cross Railway Station because I was getting cold in the park. At that time Neeraj came to the park and slept there. The next morning, I came back to the park from the Southern Cross Station and I noticed three blankets with blood. About one hour after, Neeraj arrived from hospital and told me that he was attacked at night and that he was told by the doctor that he may lose his eyesight.

When I saw Neeraj, his eyes were totally damaged and he looked terrible. I told him to go police station but he refused. He told me that police does not do anything for Indians. I then left from Batman Park because I was disappointed and upset that Neeraj would not go to the Police. The next day, April 6, 2010, I met with Neeraj again at Victoria Library in Melbourne. I asked him if he were to lose his eyes in the future, how does he plan to live pay fro his education loan to the Indian bank. If he files a complaint, the Australian government may take care of your hospital bills. He was then is ready to go to police station and we made a complaint on 6 April 2010. Otherwise, this attack would not have been reported. On 7 April, which was the last day on my bridging visa, I went to immigration office. That was when I received the letter from Phoebe Maher who is Manager for Status Resolution Team.

During the conversation on 7 April, 2010, with Nathan Reich and Phoebe Maher, I understood that they were behind the attack. Now I believe that Neeraj was attacked by the Australian Immigration Department. Nathan Reich and Phoebe Maher were behind this attack, both working in Status resolution branch, level 15, 2 Lonsdale street Melbourne VIC 3001.

I think the attack was actually against me but unfortunately Neeraj was wrongly attacked. Neeraj came to Batman Park sometime around midnight and slept there. Neeraj usually does not sleep there, he came there just once in a while. I was the one who stayed and slept there for one month. The Immigration Department knew that because I told them during the interviews.

I filed for my tax return in March 2010, in order to book my flight ticket to return to India. It took about one month to get my money when it usually takes only 3 to 5 days. I told the police officer that Neeraj and I were going to the media to report this attack. They knew that if I stay in Australia, I would take Neeraj everywhere and report this attack. The tax department paid and credited the money into my account on 06 April 2010. This was done after we made complaints in police station. I went ATM saw that my money was just credited at that time. I believe that is the reason why the tax department paid my money at that time. On 06 April 2010, I booked my ticket to return to India. That is the only money I have to go back to India.

Now I do not know where Neeraj is or how the investigation is going. I emailed one of the Victoria police officers, Grag Loganan, but I have not received any replies.

I underwent a treatment after I came from Australia between June 2010 October 2010 at Ananthapuri Hospital in Trivandrum, India. I was receiving treatment from Dr. S. Jayaram. During the counseling, Dr. S. Jayaram asked me several questions regarding what had happened in Australia. All such questions were unnecessary. This was not a part of the treatment. He wanted to know everything and he recorded my conversation. I did not tell him anything particular that happened in Australia. Dr. S. Jayaram had a different objective and I do not know who he works for, whether it is Ananthapuri Hospital or Australian Spy.
During the counseling he asked me about my past history since my birth and he wrote in a book and file. When I was asleep after relaxation therapy, he searched my hand book and cell phone. In the book, I had written my net banking log on and email details. Now I need Yahoo and Google help to check my email address to know who logged onto my email from June 2010 to October 2010.
After the therapy session had finished, I came back to his office to ask a question. At the time I heard his conversation with his assistant, an ayurvada doctor. He was using obscene language in reference to my parents and me. I heard him talking about what happened to me in Australia. I do not know how he knows such information. He probably work for Australian Immigration Department.

            Dear Friends,
I am an NRI, I was in Australia from 2006 to 2010. This year I underwent a treatment at Ananthapuri Hospital in Trivandrum, India. At the time I heard his conversation to his assistant, an ayurvada doctor, and he was using obscene language against my parents and me. I believe his plan was to record my important conversation then give to Australian CIDs. Dr S Jayaram thinks I live abroad so I do not file a case in court. Ananthapuri hospital should respect NRIs. Non Resident Indians’ contribution is high in the Indian economy. Some of our people left India, which is why unemployment rate came down in India and we went abroad not to make money only, but to help others too.

Trivandrum is a my hometown and I am an NRI, living abroad for many years. This year I underwent a treatment at Ananthapuri hospital in Trivandrum, India. I was there for four months receiving treatment from Dr.S.Jayaram. During the time, I noticed several bad behavior from Dr.S.Jayaram. Ananthapuri hospital is a centralized air conditioned building and Dr.S. Jayaram's office is in basement. However, the air condition was never switched on during the period June 2010 to September 2010. I noticed that they have air handling unit, supply air as well as return air diffuser in the basement. I complained many times to the public relation manager, staff, and Dr.S.Jayaram who became angry at me.

When I was in abroad, I had several issuse with immigration department in that country. During the counseling with Dr. S Jayaram asked me several questions regarding what had happened abroad. I am honestly saying, all such questions were unnecessary and he recorded my conversation. I believe he may have sold my information to the immigration department.

I met patients who came to see Dr. S Jayaram. We were all charged 1200 RS for psychological support 600 RS, relaxational therapy 500 RS and 100 RS to take file. The actual counselling session only lasted 15 to 20 minutes but the waiting period was 6 to 7 hours. During this period they never switched on air conditioning. In front of his office there were two rooms where they steam hospital equipments with more than 100 degrees centigrade. The hot air traveled to the waiting area where we were sitting for up to 7 hours. There was no fresh air or any type of ventilation. After I notified the manager, a fan was placed in the waiting area.

Dr S.Jayaram is not a Psychologist but he charged up to 600 RS for psychological support. There are several good Psychologists in Trivandrum, such as Justin , who is a kind hearted man. He is consulting patients in his home . The patients pay him 100 to 200 RS only but he is really happy with this money.

I met and spoke with patients in Dr. S Jayaram's office who were very poor and got mental illness because of their financial problems. But Dr S. Jayaram charged large amounts of money from them. For example, 1200 RS for 15 to 20 minutes for a single time every week. He said he would inject patients without their awareness. I noticed he would inject once a month only but he charged every week same amount of money.

Dr. S. Jayaram is a member of the India Medical Association, Chathannur President (Kollam), and a member of Indian Psychiatric Society-South Zone. I strongly believe Dr. S. Jayaram did MBBS and DPM only to make money and not to serve others. MBBS and DPM comes as God's own gift.
