Appointment is taken at the time of follow up (before 10 days) at that time token number and time is being told... Wen we come at that time we have to wait another 4 hour to see

    My father has been admitted to vijaya hospital, we are not been clearly informed on what the diagnosis is and what treatments are being performed. We have come.to the hospital with great hope, we maynot understand the medical terminologies that doesn't mean that we should be kept in dark. For the past 5 days they have been providing treatment but we have very little information about the problem, the course of treatment and possible outcomes.

    I hope your father is doing good now. We lost our father because of incompetent doctors in Vijaya hospital. Vijaya hospital is no more honest like it was in 90s and early 2000. They are running it to loot people in their dire situations..like vultures

      Incompetent Doctor Faiz Mustafa

      GP Dr.Fiaz Mustafa is an incompetent doctor, who doesnt explain what tests ran for a patient and whats the outcome. He doesnt even review the reports and misinterpreted them. He stalled the diagnosis and had prescribed unnecessary tests which were not related to the original complaint of the patient. He is very defensive and evasive when asked about explaining the reports and prognosis of the patient. Is he even a doctor? He was never approachable...

      Vijaya Management Team,

      I am writing this email hope that management will take necessary action and provide justice to the patient.

      I have met Dr.R.V Anand on 13th October 4.40 Pm at Vijaya hospital for my mother Ms. Vasatha Mariamnal age 47 for severe head pain. On the first day review the doctor didn't have much interaction with the patient and just asked to take a MRI scan mentioned specifically on Chakra Scans provided contact number by the doctor. Attached proof for reference.

      We have taken scan on Arthi scans and went for review to the doctor on 14th October at Vijaya health centre. The doctor done the below things,

      1. Not having the manners of calling the patient inside the room.we are standing outside of the room the doctor didn't react anything on us.

      2. Not having the basic courtesy to ask the female patient to sit on the chair, my mother was standing before the doctor and then she sat herself on the chair.

      3. Behaved very rude for not taking the scans in chakra scans. Throwing the scan report on the table.

      4.Not explained about the report and directly writing the prescription.

      5. After we asked about the report he didn't respond properly and very rudely replying with one word.

      The above whole picture happened because the scan was not taken on Chakra scans.

      1. Is there any rule in Vijaya hospitals that all scans to be taken in chakra scans ???

      2. Is ther any medical government rule been implemented that the patient should take the scans on the doctor prescribed scan centres ???

      4. Is that Rs. 950 consultation fees is not enough for a doctor to review patient record for 10 mins ???

      5. Is the doctor or hospital is getting commission from the scan centres for every scan ??

      6. If yes, then a well educated doctor expects extra commision from the scan centre is right then a middle class people going to a scan centre which costs less money is wrong ???

      Costs of MRI scan in Chakra scans after telling the Doctor name is Rs. 5000

      Costs of same MRI scan in arthi scans in Rs. 2800.

      What wrong here from patients side???

      I need justice for the disobedient behaviour of the doctor to my mother and Need an appointment with another neurology doctor to review the scan reports and explain us for the paid amount of Rs . 950.

        Cashless claim no - 474763
        Hospital sent claim amount Rs 53309.69 to Niva bupa insurance
        Approved insurance amount is Rs 49168
        - amount not approved by insurance - Rs 4141
        Drugs returned - Rs 2525

        Hospital sent all returned drugs/medicines amount to insurance
        so here i paid returned drugs/medicines Rs 2525.
        i checked with insurance company, they said could not see the retuned drugs details . In hospital, billing section told check with insurance we sent the drugs/medicines to insurance company plz check with them.
        In hospital provided 2 High resource protein, amount is 2*949 = 1898, we used 1 box and another one returned to hospital. but i paid for 2 box without consuming, they are not clearing my questions, always saying check with insurance. They reduced returned drugs amount from the insurance approved amount Rs[protected] = 46643, so after this calculation my approved amount is 46643 only not 49168, plz resolve this, i need my returned drugs amount

          I am a retired engineer from ISRO and a beneficiary under CHSS (Contributory Health Service Scheme) of the Department of Space (DOS), Govt. of India. DOS has signed an MOU with the Vijaya Hospitals, Chennai for providing medical services on a Credit basis and charges for inadmissible items like diet, laundry, and telephone charges are to be borne by the beneficiary at the time of discharge. My wife underwent Total knee replacement in both the legs in Vijaya Health Centre. in the last week of March 2022. In addition to the allowed charges, a separate group in the hospital collected an advance of Rs.20, 000 as an extra advance, just before the surgery, which is not accounted for in the final inadmissible items bill. When I questioned. I was given some non-format tax invoices and handwritten paper as the receipt. Some of the items are admissible items, most of the other items are duplicated since they are also covered in the regular credit bill and some are vague and ambiguous descriptions like " disposables". I request you to take the necessary action to recover the balance in the illegally collected amount in the name of ADVANCE which is against the MOU.

            Incompetent and False promising doctor

            My biggest mistake in my life that I believed the name vijaya hospital without verifying doctor profile and the outcome is I lost my father. My father was diagnosed with stage1 tumor. Unfortunately we met Dr. Dinesh Ramaswamy. He suggested to go for surgery without explaining complications and he said 10days recovery. Due to his incompetency to do Whipple's surgery, the cost increased 3times and more than that I lost my physically fit father....

            Incompetent doctor

            My biggest mistake that I believed the name vijaya hospital without verifying the doctors profile. Dr. Dinesh did Whipple surgery to my father without explaining complications. He told patient will recover within 10 day and it is easy. Finally he reopened after 30days and my father is now in critical condition. Doctor is incompetent to do this critical surgery and need more experienced doctor. Please don't play with patients life. I feel...

            Pot hole near reception Vijaya health centre

            Today we went to Vijaya health centre. While going to make an enquiry in reception my mother aged about 70 fell in front of the reception by hitting her legs due to ul leveling surface. I have reported this issue with the security & staff in the reception. I have took few pictures to share the evidence for the un even platform. I don't want this to be happen for anyone in future.             I had get a call from this number [protected] at 1:08Am and using unparliamentary language using all bad words in Tamil. It was a girl I want to raise a complaint against her I want to know who was she when I call back to this number service operators are picking up. I want to raise a serious complaint against her. I'm asking service operators to find her and terminate her from your Health centre. Otherwise, your hospital will loose it's reputation and it's value

                This complaint regards to Vijay a hospital worst security service management mainly parking securities.They didn’t behave a proper way to the customer. They concerned for only money won’t thought humans situation. So please kindly request one thing, advice him and here after behave like a proper way all customer.

                  Admitted my mother in Vijaya Hospital on 15th March for Vascular related treatment.
                  Angio was done to determine the blocks and further treatment was recommended by the Doctor.
                  We are using insurance for payment and the hospital has told us an estimate of 2.5L and 3L for the treatment and also sent a pre-auth to my insurance company for only 2.5L and received an approval for 1.8L.
                  Further treatment recommended by the Doctor was stenting in Kidney and Leg. We were made to wait for 3 days for the Stent to come and after multiple follow-ups the treatment was done and stenting was completed. However the final billing came to 6.5L to all of our surprise and we were not informed about the increase in the billing at any time even after us asking multiple times during the course of the treatment.
                  Also no pre-auth approval for the increased bill estimate was not taken by the hospital after the initial request of 2.5L.
                  So we were in no idea that the bill amount would come to 6.5L. Now we have been pressurized by the hospital to pay a sum of 2.9L which is remaining after the insurance payment of 3.3L.

                    Very poor facilities available in the ward, no masks given, staff very rude, no handwash available.
                    We are in covid ward and such a basic thing not provided is disgusting.

                      My Uncle got admitted in Vijaya Hospital, Vadapalani, Chennai because of Chest related problems. After discharge, we have applied for Medical Reimbursement via EHS at our native place - Nellore, Andhra Pradesh, that got rejected as there is no Proceedings doc or GO doc showing the Hospital Renewal for the Year[protected].

                      I have called hospital multiple times and sent email to them also, they always said - we will get it in a week or ten days, they never provided the same till today.

                        i need appointment of Dr. Deepak Arjundas sir, by tomorrow, so i have made a call to the above mentioned numbers the persons in the reception told to wait for a minute and kept the phone aside and they are talking to each other, i have waited for more than 30 mins still they are not responding and i have tried again by dialing to same number the same has repeated.
                        if they are behaving like that how people fare away from Chennai can get appointment of doctors.
                        Still i have not got appointment
                        So i am requesting the management to take proper action for not repeating the same issue again

                            Today 5th dec 2919 i brought ny mum to vijaya hospital at op. Since she was an existing patient of this hospital. The hospita had l told her to pay rs 700 for her consultation. I was asking instead of paying 500. Why should she pay rs 700. They claimed every year the patients have to pay renewal fee of rs 100. My understanding that we need to pay first time registration fees and following visits need to pay only the consultation fees. But in vijaya hospital hospital overly exployting the patients to give them over burdens to pay. I sincerely request the management to look in to this issues to provide amicable services to remove all this stress to provide the quality if the service.

                              This is on appointment management for dr deepak arjundas. There have been several complaints in the past on staffs handling the appointments. The situation has not improved, it's simple basic appointment management that a hospital of this size can't get it right! Surprising... We stay nearby so we go every two hours and check the movement. Otherwise the reception do not bother to notify that patients need to wait for long hours... What's the point of getting an appointment with a time then?

                                This is in regards to my father's treatment mr. Venkatesan seetharaman (I. P. No. 7253/9/2017)
                                I had sent mail with respect to my dad's treatment on below mentioned dates after rigourous follow-up i had just received a procedure letter only from the doctor which has not answered to any of my question after which i had mailed on 13-feb-2018 still there is no revert on the same.

                                It seems like the hospital and the doctors hardly care about their mistakes, there were communications sent across but no action was taken, but the revert which i had received did not answer to any of my question, the doctor simply mentioned on the procedure of operation which was done, there were question raised on flaws in the treatment post operation which should have been taken care of, i don't think the doctor has read my letter properly
                                Is this the way you treat a patient so carelessly and then keep quiet about your mistakes, and the doctors hardly care about human emotions because of their mistakes.
                                The hospital and the doctors are keeping quiet for their mistake. The treatment which you had given and the type of treatment which was communicated in letter is incomplete.
                                I need a meeting with the doctor and the senior medical officer who understands things. Hence requesting you to please arrange this meeting soon. Its my humble request so that i can clear my queries and would also request both ceo and gm of hospital to be present because i need to show them something as well.

                                I have list of all communications that have taken place with the hospital. Although, the members said they will arrange a doctor panel to discuss on this incident but till now they have not come up with this discussion and its almost 6 months now.
