Hi,
I recently hired Apex Movers and Packers (GSTIN - ) to shift some of my stuff from Bangalore to Gurgaon. The following are the issues/incidents that happened before and after I received my items:

1. I clearly asked the guy if there are any hidden charges before the packing of items and he said that only the weight charges (40rs per kg) and GST will be there. Nothing else. But as soon as the items were taken he sent me a receipt including 4-5 other charges making total amount as 42 thousand. I asked him to remove all these charges which he didn't tell us earlier and after an hour of discussion he did that.

2. He promised us to deliver our items in 3-4 days but it got delivered in 8 days.

3. One of our carton is missing and someone else's carton is there with us now and now he is not doing anything about it.

4. Some of my furniture is broken beyond repair and I have asked him several times for a refund but he is just diluting time and not doing anything about it either.

5. The guy also said that he will send a tracking id on day one but it never came to us even after asking him repeatedly for it.

6. Someone else's ID's were attached with our items/cartons and the name for the recipient address was also incorrect due to which there was a lot of effort in claiming it when received at the address.

7. This person made 4-5 promises and not even one of them was fulfilled properly.

Now I don't have any idea about the missing carton and this person is not taking any steps to make sure it reaches us. Also, he is not giving refund for the broken items that we received. He looks like a total fraud because our stuff got delivered in a very inappropriate manner. There is no proper logistics or tracking of the items delivered by these people.

I have transported my household goods from Arakonam to Barrackpore on 18 Jul14 for which they have charged Rupees. 35106/- including insurance 3000/- and service tax 3861/- for packing/unpacking and loading/unloading. They have taken the value of individual items for refund of money in case of any damage to the item. The total insured amount is 100000/- Rupees. They have told that in case of any items gets damaged write the list of items damaged and get the signature of driver below the defect . When it will comes back to us we will pay you the insured amount. But I have to pay for unloading of items and when I have talked to Mr. Rakesh of Apex transports he told that you pay the money I will deposit in your account. When it is unloaded I have found that most of the items are damaged. As per their directives I have written the defects and taken the signature of driver and informed Mr. Rakesh about the extent of damage. He told me that he will pay all the amount on receipt of the defect in the office. After some times he told me that he received the defect and he will pay within 1 - 2 days. But there after he is not picking up my phones and till now he has not refunded any money. He is suppose to return me around 20000/- Rupees.

I booked this packers and movers for delivery of my Household goods from Chennai to Kolkata. They took my goods on 8th of January 2011. The goods were delivered to me in the month of February 2011. But a tv which was part of the consignement did not reach my house. It was a Sony flat tv whose price was Rs. 6200.
Till todays date the tv did not reach us also they did not pay me back the money. They said that the tv is lost and also they did not pay me the money.

I am chakkaravarthy.k shifted my residence from Gurgaon to Salem. Due to this i sent my House Items through Apex Packers & Movers - gurgaon on 18.08.2010. I looked into their websites and called them, they said - no problem - we are having branches at coimbatore and will deliver the items in your house.

I also accepted and they charged INR 21,000 and i paid them 80% of the amount initially as it is the company policy...

I never thought of writing this email when I shifted my household items from Gurgaon to Enayetpore, Post Office Nalikul, District Hooghly, West Bengal 712407 through Apex Packers & Movers. They gave a quotation of RS 8200 after seeing all items. All items include household material like fridge, folding bed, kitchen utensils etc as well as a guiter and a harmonium. But after the packing, they charged RS 11008. I gave RS 8008 to them and they agreed to take rest of the payment which was RS 3000 on the final delivery. The delivery was a doorstep one and the payment includes the loading and unloading charges. I sent all those items on 16th of January 2010. As per their commitment, goods should have been delivered with in a week time.

But I have not recieved my items yet. In Apex Packers and Movers, the person with whom I contacted with is Mr. Ratan Sharma. On last week, I came to know that the goods were reached and stored in Dunlop area in Kolkata. On asking the transporter to deliver the items to my house, they were telling me to submit RS 3500 and then only I could take my items. They were not ready to deliver it to my house. They were asking me to arrange a truck by my own and take things. Daily, I am used to call Mr. Ratan atleast 50 times but he never picked up my phone. Sometimes I tried with some different numbers. Then he was used to pick up and he was immediately used to say that he was on traffic so he would call me back soon. But I never got his call back.

This is really frustrating. They are really careless fellows who don't care about their customers. My money and my valuable goods are in great trouble. I am providing the following details. If someone can help me on this then I will be really thankful. Any guidance will also be greatly appreciated:

I want to register a compaint against Apex Packers and Movers company. I sent my home goods to punjab through Apex Packers and Movers, Gurgaon on 21/04/2009. The company promised to deliver the consignment by 24/04/2009. I continuously followed up Apex Packers and Movers when did not recieve the consignment on 24/04/2009.

I tried to contact the concerned person from Apex Packers and Movers (Mr. Ratan Chaudhary) on his mobile...

I want to register a compaint against Apex Packers and Movers company. I sent my home goods to punjab through Apex Packers and Movers, Gurgaon on 21/04/2009. The company promised to deliver the consignment by 24/04/2009. I continuously followed up Apex Packers and Movers when did not recieve the consignment on 24/04/2009.

I tried to contact the concerned person from Apex Packers and Movers (Mr. Ratan Chaudhary) on his mobile number[protected] but the mobile was switched off for three nights and in day time he used to make false promises that consignment is on the way, infact the consignment started on 27/04/2009 and i got the consignment on 28th morning.

I want to complaint that some of the things were missing from the consignment (my invertor battery, costing 10000 Rs.). When i tried to contact Ratan Chaudhary he clearly asked me to lodge a complaint and did not promise to deliver the thing.

Due to above behavior of the company representatives i faced lot much mental and economical harassment. I request you to take the necessary action against the company to fulfill the loss.
