Appollo hospitals - chennai - vanagaram. I have had many experiences with this hospital, where for any emergency, even if the patient physically walks in to the hospital first they are admitting to emergency section with admission fee of 30k. Immediately shifting them to mdccu stating everyday 40-50k without even understanding patient conditions fully. Standard 2-3 days in mdccu without allowing patient attenders and just 1 time junk explanation from doctors. Inexperience nurses where they learn with all patients and keep taking samples without even understanding the needs.
I have had the bad experience with this hospital where my father died, and this hospital is a money making machine without proper service/doctors/inexperienced nurses.

They have bouncers in billings and ensure no one questions against the # policies they have.

    I had the worst possible experience in the emergency ward. We had taken my father in law in for a case of pancreatitis. There was no communication as to what was the diagnosis. And when I went to ask what happened and the emergency doctor at that time Dr. Srinivasan told me we have already communicated with the wife of the patient which was not done. I had to explicitly ask him is there a problem letting me know the diagnosis again and then his highness was ready to point me to another doctor.

    The status is never communicated by the doctors and the guards tells you he will call when needed as there is no entry into emergency. He calls me in and I wait there for 5 mins near the bed. My father in law is withering in pain complaining of pain and feeling pukiish, nobody responds till I got to their place personally and call them to please come to his bed. And I ask the guard who called me in and he says he doesn't know. I ask doctors and nurses who called me in and they do not know. Never had such a bad experience for emergency ward.

      I Surendra Kumar Singh my mother in law (Sudesh Singh UHID : APD1.[protected]) was admitted on 11/6/19 for operating AV Fistula left hand) by Dr Sandeep Guleria at Apollo Hospital Delhi.
      While discharging hospital charging me excessive amount as informed by Dr Sandeep Guleria .They charges :
      1) For Two Thermometer
      2) For Two Sanitizer
      3) Anesthesia
      4) Operation Theater
      5) Dietitian
      As per Dr Sandeep Guleria he had not given anesthesia to the patient and there is no requirement of dietitian and why two thermometer and sanitizer for one patient.
      Pl look into the matter and refund me the excessive amount which I had paid to the Apollo Hospital Delhi.

        I worked as a duty doctor on Apollo hospital in greams road, Chennai. Initially I didn't receive salary for the month of March and April amounting Rs.28000... later I received only a part of salary and I didn't get remaining salary of RS.8000 yet... When I try to solve this issue I only get a convincing answers from HR of the hospital Mr.Siva Subramanian... They are not ready to pay the proper salary but they keep on calling for next duties... How will we agree to work without getting proper salary... Please take action..

          My wife Sucharita Kundu had undergone procedure for ablation of varicose vein and sclerotherapy at Apollo Hospitals, Bhubaneswar under the guidance of Dr Manas R Kar on 12.06.19. Procedure was successful and doctor advised us to get discharged at around 11.30 am. But the staff took 4 hours to send the final papers to TPA desk; that too after intervention of doctors. And due to the negligence of billing staff (details of consumables not given, procedures not clearly mentioned etc), we got an approval of Rs 87969/- as against a bill of Rs. 147041/-. Finally we got discharged at around 9.30 pm but I didn't get the detailed bill of consumables. It was the bill for laser valve used in the procedure. The manager on duty, Mr Mihir, had assured me to send the said bill through mail. But after several correspondence for last 4 days I didn't receive any reply from the hospital. Why the staff are so insensitive? They don't bother to give a reply to my mails?
          Now I want to get the detailed bill of the consumable for Rs. 22400/-. Please let me know how can I get the same. Expecting an immediate response.

              I sodisetti srinivasa rao, yesterday 11062019 was met with accident and joined in apollo emergency care at apollo jubilee hills and This is to bring to your notice that the reports are provided are not correct and i am very disappointed about the services and i just want compensate on this issue. They have charged unnecessary charges.
              They have taken st scan reports for brain and spine and they charged me 16k approximately. They are money minded and need strict action against this loot which they have taken.

                This is to inform you that I Mr.Sodisetti Srinivasa Rao joined in Apollo hospital emergency care 10.06.2019 @11:23:33 as per reports provided due to accident and i experienced bad treatment in the hospital and the ctscan for brain and ctscan for spine films are not provided and the report which is given also not mine for ct scan report for brain and this report was given in the name of different female report and doctor was checked with these reports and discharged. Who is responsible should be punished and compensate me due to negligence of Apollo team.

                And moreover information was not sen't to police station and this cause inconvinince in registering the complaint.

                Please review and help in this situation.

                  The doctors are fully money minded . they just try to suck you in all means.
                  My mother was admitted in case of an emergency. They simply charged around 2 lakhs . During her surgery they charged 2 lakhs thats somehow understandable. This time excepts some tests nothing was done still they charged the same amount. And its just a holiday so they didnt discharge the patient. In that case thats the hospital issue and they should give waiver.

                  They try to suck you by all means.

                    I have visited Chennai Apollo on 7/6/19 for treatment of my mother, age 65, only to suffer at the hands of reception clerks. My schedule appointment was at 10.15 am and we reached there at 9.

                    The ground floor reception executive told us to go We went to Main Building and one representative told us to go to Personalised health check up building. Then we went there and one gentleman in the ground floor sitting in the reception desk told us to go to 2nd floor. Then we went to 2nd floor by steps as use of lift was barred for us. But the lady sitting in the counter no.2C misguided us completely and told us to wait till the arrival of doctors secretary without advising properly. Then came the secretary who was very busy and after so much persuasion, she told us to go to 1st floor. Then 1st floor people gave us forms to fill up and asked us to go to the secretary again. Then secretary gave us time at 12.30 PM. Then we went to 1st floor counter to deposit the forms. Then again we were asked to wait till 12.15 p.m. So our original appointment time shifted to 12.30p.m. and god knows how much my ailing mother would have to suffer till such time and after that also. Please help us to meet the doctor, we have come here from Assam for better facility with high expectations. My mother, who is a heart patient with past angioplasty history, has been waiting in the 1st floor hall since 9 am

                      Appolo hospital is one of the best hospital in bbsr. It may be for vip or vvip but the kind of services they are providing to the middle class patients are really worst. My mother is recommended for dialysis thrice in a week. But the doctor isn't visiting regularly in the dialysis ward. Most of the time the doctors and the staffs are not cooperating properly. Patients are going through a lot of difficulties. If some emergency arises they are only extracting money from the patients. The senior and junior doctors of nephrology department are not talking properly to the patients and their attendants. If some patient is requesting to low the temperature of air conditioner (Ac) then they are not responding so that the patients are coughing and they are rushed to the icu. The most important thing is the bahavior which the staffs don't know. Some of the nurses in the emergency ward are too rough for the sick people. They just dont care. I have an worst experience with them. So i dont think this is one of the best hospital in bbsr. The kidney patients are not recovering but they are deteriorating. So my request to all plz choose a better hospital for your loving once.

                        It was doctor of lucknow branch apollo hospital in february my dad was not feeling well so my brother in law checked it online and took him to dr ak singh at his home thinking that he would be cooperating also he will take better care in every possible way.
                        The dr looked at him, asked to get an x-ray done my dad who is completely looking fit brought it from outside. The doctor instead of helping him directly said either to admit or else to let it be happen.
                        Later on they decided and took second opinion where everything was found normal and within few days he found out to be perfectly fine.
                        That rude and misbehaviour with patient is definitely injurious to towards the patient. It is very obvious that doctors are god for patient, if doctors will behave in such a manner it ll affect not only patient and his family also. This cannot be apologised neither it is acceptable by a doctor.

                          Last month i had a oparetion by dr. Ps. Reddy he was completly fraud. My oparetion is not sucessfull. I want my all money return back. Most worst doctor ever i seen. When i come back home i was going for checking and they said there is no surgery in my vocal.
                          Then i do endoscopy. And there is same as past. For the confusion i visited more 3 dr. They saying the same thing. Now say what should do right now.

                          I am in greams road located in Chennai..there is no water in hospital and they r patients waiting to go to restroom. All the restrooms r bad and dirty. How do u expect patients to be healthy with no water n bad maintenance being in hospital?

                            This is to inform you that i am the attendee of mohd. Abdul haque, uhid : 6004, admitted on 23rd may, 2019, bed no : 3401, 3rd floor, apollo main building, greams road, chennai

                            I would like to know what the rights we have?

                            As when i discussed with sister in-charge of your hospital, who is looking after my parent that may i see the file sheet as what are the suggestions, instructions, etc has been adviced by the doctors and what else to be done, she directly said that we have no rights to see the file and what's is written over there, they will look after it?

                            When said her that why we are not having any rights to see what are the treatment, suggestions, advice, etc provided by the doctors for our patient at file sheet, since
                            We have admitted him at your hospital and we should know what's going on.
                            Suddenly she started shouting on me and started saying to other sister that i took the file from counter and taking photographs of documents.

                            Is this the way, your staff handle the patient and their attendee, if asked or quarries regarding anything.

                            It doesn't mean that the hospital management have all rights and only making payments are our responsibility.

                            We came here with some hope believing that we will get best medical services. We were too satisfied the whole day, the way doctors treated us and all others, but suddenly we were so disappointed with one sister and she is also blaming me with false statements when i just asked her some questions.

                              My daughter (Uhid ac[protected] pid - cwcip16031) was undergoing medical treatment as opd as awell as indoor patient at apollo women's hospital, chennai. During the period of treatment from[protected] to[protected], we faced with lot of inconvenience in carrying out paper works, making payment and purchasing medicines etc. Due to restriction of only one attendant's visit in the hospital. Surgery upon my daughter was done in early morning of[protected]. She was discharged in the evening of same day with an advice to come back on next day i.. E[protected] for further check-up and treatment. As advised by the consulting doctor, my daughter, her husband and myself (Senior citizen) went to aforesaid hospital on[protected] at about 10.30 am and attempted to visit first floor of the hospital building. One male security person standing nearby the staircase and lift did not like it and misbehaved with us. At that moment, the concerned male security person was hot in temperament and inhumane in nature. However, we had able to convince him about the urgency of our visit and at last, he allowed my daughter and her husband to visit 1st floor of the hospital building. As i fee, one attendant is not sufficient to meet the requirement particularly for those patients who undergo surgery and can not walk/move on their own from one place to another. Such patients are in need of two attendants, one for helping the patient in walking and another for completion of paper works, arranging & making payment etc. The security personnel should understand the necessity of two attendants in respect of such patient and should relax the restriction of attendant's visit at least on humanitarian ground. It is worthwhile to mention here that aforesaid security person was kind enough to allow more than one attendant to visit the hospital in respect of a few patient. But in our case (Surgery patient), the said security person had angrily told the patient to go along-with only one attendant whereas at that moment she was unable to walk due to surgery done upon her yesterday. Such type of act on the part of security person not only put the patient in immense hardship in getting proper treatment but also damage reputation of the hospital. The hospital authority may therefore kindly look into it and take action in this regard under intimation to me.

                                Attached file is self explanatory.in nut cell i admitted my father-in-law mr. Ratneswar guha m/84 in apollo glenegles hospital, kolkata in emergency ward in the bed number 45 on 13/05/2019 at about 5.30 p. M, with head drill and neuro problem.
                                After 9.30 p. M he was shifted to bed number 523. After that we were asked to collect the "visitor's card" from your admission department at about 9.40 p. M. There mr. Pratap mondal (Jr. Executive) & mr. Susmit chandra lal (Assistant manager) of admission department asked us to wait. We waited up to 10.35 p. M, then they said that they will not issue any "visitor's card" today.
                                Under the circumstances, and being a senior citizen (My age is 63yrs.), i think it was nothing but harassment, because there were 5/6 of apollo's staffs there, where issuing the card was not so tough job.
                                Since there was no "complaint register" available there. I submitted a complaint letter and got receipt of the same, which is enclosed below in "add photos".
                                I have never faced this kind of behavior before.
                                My request you to investigate the matter & take necessary steps to avoid any future problem.

                                  Hi team,

                                  This is murali we admitted in nellore apollo hospital on 05/07. And on 8th my dad had ent operation and it's was successful. Then today on 10th dr suggested to discharge at 9am and he submitted all discharge notes. But this files not processed for insurance. When i reached the sr personal they are saying 5 hr it will take you have to file. To process the claim you will take this much time this is very bad. For 9am to till almost 12pm file not moved for processing. Please take higt and try to process asap.

                                  Apologize for the delay of discharge process from our team, now let comes to scenario doctor summary writing and finalization was on time, with the span of 1 hour summary was finalized and all the reports was organized for giving to insurance desk. Due to initiation delay and OT consumption closing it took more time, We explained the total scenario to the patient attendant and promised we definitely make sure not to repeat it.

                                    In the month of august, 2018, my wife mrs. Amrita mukherjee underwent a treatment of “leiomyoma o[censored]terus” at your esteemed hospital (Apollo women’s hospital) in chennai.

                                    For treatment, we had done some ‘ medical tests’ as per the advice of our doctor, mrs. Alpa khakkar. It was billed as ‘surgi pack’ and amounted to rs. 12, 400/- only. But no detailed bill (Means full details of each amount charged against each service) has been provided to me. As a result, my insurance company has turned down my ‘reimbursement claim’.

                                    Hence, my earnest request to your good office to provide me a detailed copy of the above mentioned bill. It will help me to claim the amount from my insurance provider.

                                    Hope, you will send me the same by return mail.

                                      My patient jatin dogra he is diagnosed with lung cancer nd has icici lombard cashless policy which is continuously rejected by bank because of your doctor's mistake. Dr. Muzahir send wrong patient history to bank. Today is our discharge and we don't have money except this policy. And nobody telling us concern person to complaint this matter. Plz help asap
