To whomsoever it may concern:
I am writing this mail with deep anguish and much concern that your company had given mental stress to me and my family. It is a most lethargic approach by your company without putting your selves in the shoes of the claimant.
My father was an insurance holder and expired on 19th may 2018 due to multi organ failures at mehta hospital.
We had approached your ashok nagar - chennai office for claim and submitted all the requisite documents in originals to mr. Suresh kumar (Executive - customer service), the officer who is handling the claim.
After so many follow ups and queries for more than months we were finally asked for 10 years old medical records of my father.
I was really shocked to hear this as we don't have so many years of records and more over my father was taking care of himself on the medication. There was no much serious illness until before his death. Even the cashless claim while he was admitted in the hospital was approved. (I dont know how at that time and why not now?)
I had tried contacted your customer service center for the status and letting know that we do not hold 10 years medical records. Finally i was told to write a letter and submit to the ashok nagar branch stating the reasons for not able to submit the 10 years old records. With all due respect i had given the letter as per the wish before 2 months.
But still i have not got any reverts. When contacted mr. Suresh, he told that would arrange for video conference with medical team in a week's time. This was promised to me on august 1st week but still i am yet to get an appointment on v. C. I again had approached mr. Suresh to know on the status and finally he directed me to write to grievances cell since he too was unable to get an appointment.
Now i am writing this mail hoping that somebody would help us in my fathers death clam. I have already given all the original documents and you can verify the same. Please do not post any questions to me as i have already given all my information's to your company. I am only looking forward for the claim amount without any further delay
Please note that if i am not getting any reverts within 2 days time, i am taking up the issue with ombudsman cell,.. My fathers claim is already due for more than 4 month and i have the rights to claim with all due interest.
