[Resolved]  Apollo Pharmacy — forcing by the pharmacy to purchase more quantity than required

I went to apollo pharmacy, malkajgiri, telangana, on 2/12/17 to buy 1tab of pruvict 1mg for my father as was advised by the general physician. But the pharmacy has refused to sell me 1tablet but asked me to purchase the entire strip consisting of 10 tablets costing rs. 149/-. As i had no choice i was forced to purchase the entire strip.

I request the enforcing agencies to take a serious view of this type practices which is prevalent across all the pharmacies.

Also it may be ensured that complaint boxes with the phone numbers to whom a complaint can be lodged be displayed prominently in stores for consumers to lodge complaint and immediate resolution.
