I am a foreigner living in India who just happens to need medicine for my brain to function correctly. I have a licensed doctor who prescribes me medicine. For the past few months, I have been able to order from Apollo Pharmacy. That is, until today.
I was told that my purchase was denied because my prescription is invalid. When I would ask for what specific reason, the pharmacist on the phone wasn’t able to answer.
Since she wasn’t listening, I asked to speak with a Manager. She said she would call back in 2 minutes. Then suddenly I get a message saying the prescription is invalid because it didn’t state the medicine or have a clear prescription date - both untrue. Obviously it has that information as it is a prescription.
My number was also blocked so I could not call back. Is this what you call customer service?
That was incredibly unprofessional behaviour and just bad business. Please review your employees for basic competency and reading comprehension because medicine is incredibly important and you shouldn’t be playing with people’s health. Was this information helpful? |
