[Resolved]  Apollo Pharmacy — wrong eye drop given by pharmacist

My doctor had prescribed lotepred eye drop (For bacterial infection). However, pharmacist at apollo pharmacy - nizampura, vadodara gave me latocom eye drop (For glaucoma) inspite of showing the prescription to him. We did not check the name at the time of invoice as we had trusted the pharmacy. On using the wrong eye drop my eye started burning terribly. It was then when we found that wrong eye drop was given. On contacting the pharmacy, the pharmacist told that since composition is same he gave us latocom, but our doctor said not to use the drop as it is completely different composition. Lotepred eye drop costs only rs 137, and latocom costs rs 565. Apollo pharmacy is now refusing to take back the wrong eye drop as seal was opened and also not providing any refund. They have not just cheated us by giving 5 times more expensive eye drop but also caused significant damage to my eye due to wrong eye drop. Please provide me refund/exchange for other medicines asap.
