Dealer denied to change the tyre within warranty period only within 5-6 month

My front car tyre burst as I was driving on the highway near Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu. I was enroute to Bangalore when the incident occurred. I drive the Innova Crysta 2021 model and I see the tyres have worn out a lot with only 30, 000 kms of driving. I’ve been driving for the past 15 years and this is my first time since I got this new Innova Crysta. I see this is a faulty product and would want to have the tyres replaced asap.

He incident occurred in July 2023 at Greater Noida where my vehicle (Hyundai Creta 2021) was involved in a significant collision from the side. As a result, apart from the vehicle, the tyres too were impacted and suffered considerable damage. The impact had rendered the vehicle unfit for use till it was repaired and released from the workshop on 24Oct23.
During a prior workshop survey before the release, my son had specifically highlighted the 'pinch' problem affecting the tyres due to the accident impact. The Hyundai workshop accepted the problem and on the instance of GoDigit Insurance company sent the vehicle to your company for inspection. Regrettably, this issue was identified and downplayed as “Normal appearance of material at splice / joint either due to high inflation pressure or excessive joint” by your inspection team. This seemed hilarious as the vehicle was under repair and tyre inflated as per correct norms at the manufacturers workshop. With this finding, the Insurance company rejected the claim for tyre changes citing inappropriate air pressure from the manufacturer, and I unwillingly had to get the vehicle released.
It’s been a couple of days now since I started using the car again. Two problems I’m constantly facing:

1) Wobbling of tyres while driving due “pinch” present due to impact
2) Perpetual drop of air pressure from any of the tyres on a daily basis.

I am writing to express my disappointment with the unprofessional conduct I experienced with your company's inspection team/product. Due to their failure to report the correct picture, I will now have to incur the 100% loss of replacing tyres. This financial setback could otherwise have been reduced considerably or avoided had the insurance company given the correct picture. This is a big disappointment from a big manufacturer like Apollo. I will now actively dissuade those within my circle from purchasing Apollo tyres due to this bad experience. I believe that professionalism and product quality are fundamental pillars of any reputable company. My hope is that by sharing my experience, it will encourage Apollo Tyres to reevaluate and improve their standards and professionals to prevent similar incidents in the future.

I am writing this with utter disappointment that am not going to trust apollo tyres ever and would not recommend anyone to go for same

I had bought maruti baleno and it came with apollo alnac 4g as company fitted tyres, right after 6 months o[censored]sage my tyre had a bulge coming out of it and I complaint with the showroom people but they asked me to ignore it saying it's common with apollo tyres and its there with almost every car of theirs and that it won't impact anything and would perform till the tread last on the tyre

I believed in them and continue to use the same tyre and after like 2 years it finally popped and punctured beyond repair, now I had a local fix to it and have to fill air every week as you can see from the picture

My recommendation to everyone who is reading this out to never go for apollo as I have heard this problem with almost every Consumer of theirs

It is alarming to note that these problems have occurred despite the fact that I have only traveled just 2950 kilometers within 4 months with these tires.

When I claimed it company just told that it not manufacturing defects so we can any claim for it. Either it is manufacturing defects or cheap quality material used for manufacturing.

We are owning Dzire 5Seater which bought 9 months back in Sep 2022 from Shenbaga Cars - Pondicherry
2 weeks ago, our driver fortunately noticed air bubble in front right-side tyre and immediately he informed us to look over which made us to reach out the Suzuki showroom before any mishap as such a tyre burst would happen if left unexamined. It just crossed only 9000KM.
Suzuki service person sent a report with a statement that it is not a manufacturing defect and was due to external factors so not considered for replacement, said in a negligent manner.

A question that’s being raised here is are we inefficient in utilizing the car which would have shown the reality in few months or Apollo tyres for the sheer negligence which installs a tyre with minimal defects and after days o[censored]sing the vehicle, blame on customer stating that its because of external factors not the manufacturing fault?

Also, The car is being not used for the last 10 days, and going on still that totals to a huge loss Apollo Tyres would be responsible for the delay in providing a resolution stating baseless reasons.

If it isn’t any manufacturing defect, why does this issue start troubling us from the first few months after car delivery? If every issue that arises in apollo tyre is not considered a manufacturing fault and not qualified for replacement even under warranty, How could we drive without any worry about our safety with the rest of the tyres from the same brand? Or with elders and kids? Also,
if it’s a manufacturing defect, how come is it allowed to be fitted on this car while in production?

We are utmost worried about safety to drive Car with rest of 3 tyres also from Apollo. Seems, 5 years warranty by them is just for namesake and nothing else.

To conclude, we urge Apollo tyres to provide valid resolution by replacement of new tyre reason being under warranty.

We are bearing Hyundai Alcazar Car (7 seater)

To begin with, This particular Tyre started showing signs two months of started using the car. It became noticeable in the last 6 months and gradually worsened. Fortunately, Our driver identified a notable difference on that Tyre and compelled us to look over this which made us to reach out the Hyundai service center before any mishap as such a Tyre burst would happen if left unexamined.

Apollo Tyres service person sent a report with a statement that it is not a manufacturing defect and was due to external factors so not considered for replacement, said in a negligent manner.

For your kind information, We have two more cars bearing the same 0027 vehicle number (XUV 700 and Tata Harrier). Most frequently, the other two cars will be used for long-distance travel in both rural and city roads accommodating no less than 5 people but we did not come across these kinds of issues in them. When it comes to Alcazar travels on an average of not less than 50 KM per day with our sir and a driver at times 3 commuters on maximum every day that too strictly on urban roads has seen this issue even before it crossed 2, 000 KM.

A question that’s being raised here is are we inefficient in utilizing the car full packed which would have shown the reality in the first few days. Furthermore, If at all 5 or 7 passengers travel in this car every day then a mishap definitely would have occurred in the second or third month o[censored]sing the car and Apollo tyres would be responsible for that accident.

Also, The car is being stranded because of this issue for the last 10 days, and going on still that totals to a huge loss Apollo Tyres would be responsible for the delay in providing a resolution stating baseless reasons.

If it isn’t any manufacturing defect, why does this issue start troubling us from the first few months after car delivery? If every issue that arises in apollo tyre is not considered a manufacturing fault and not qualified for replacement even under warranty, How could we drive without any worry about our safety with the rest of the tyres from the same brand? Or with 5 or 7 passengers? Also if it’s a manufacturing defect, How come is it allowed to be fitted on this car while in production?

Currently, We have been trying n number of times to contact that service guy who is not responsive at all. When we call customer care, they again raise a request to him who isn't taking any concern towards us.

Never expected this kind of bizzare experience from Apollo tyres.

The tyre was bought from Amazon and was registered for warranty from customer care. Just in a month's time there's a puncture on the outer sidewall of the tyre. It's still brand new. To my surprise I'm doubting the quality of the tyres as the last brand I used was Bridgestone and I never had this issue till they were totally worn-out. My car is more than 10 yr old and I changed tyres only once. This is second time I was change. I have raised a complaint on toll free number but the technical team is yet to inspect. I should be provided a replacement tyre because of the poor quality tyres.

My car came with original tubeless tyres from apollo tyres, one of the tyre got cracks in multiple places in side wall region. I bought the car around 1 year and 8 months ago, I got to know online that It covers 2 year warranty but after raising the same complain to nearest Apollo dealer and followed the process but in the end they told that if we purchased the tyres from them then it'd apply the warranty, although I did get tyre inspection from my car dealer to apollo tyres.

I have purchased the TATA PUNCH on 04/04/2022 fitted with 4no. Apollo Tyres 195/60 R16 ALNAC 4G 0722 and 1 R15 Apollo tyre.
The issue is my front left tyre got damaged suddenly which is Apollo tyre 195/60 R16 ALNAC 4G 0722 (Which is about to create the dander to lives).
Since we have 5 years of warranty from the manufacturer and its not more than used for 1.1 years new tyre which has damaged very simple way that is concerning about the quality of the tyre (Air Complaint). We have logged a complaint with complaint docket no: 22803 and vide receipt no from Apollo tyres: [protected]. Since this is new tyre which has got damaged with 1.1 years and we expect the proper explanation and replacement aswell.

My Tata Punch car was purchased in 04/04/2022 which was fitted with 4no. 195/60 R16 89H ALNAC 4GApollo Tyres. Since we have 5 years of warranty with tyres and it was just complete 1.1 years and my front let side tyres got damaged (which may lead to danger). We have raised the complaint docket and send back the tyre to the company.

Cut in tyre

I have purchase tyre in Oct 2021 from Amazon website and it is showing 5 year warranty in the product. Now today I have check that there is issue in tyre and found several holes due to internal wire damage which is company fault. Kindly request you to please check into the matter and do the needful.

I buy tata punch in 25feb 2022 and drive 10670 km after my tyre get side wall cut while driving company say the tyre not come under policy but company give unconditionally warrenty but they reject it

Apollo is a good tyre company and always assured about its quality and we always believed in the quality offered by the company to its tyres but we unfortunately we purchased tyres from Rajesh Tyres dealer of apollo dated 6/3/2023 whose Invoice no. is 18487 from the dealer of Pali Rajasthan and the dealer offered us the guaranty on the tyres purchased from the dealer but in within 15 days from the purchase we got cut on a tyre and when we complaint about the problem to the dealer he refused to replace the tyre and told us that Apollo doesn't offer any guaranty to the tyre purchased and badly abused my staff and said very offensive language to him.
Let us know that Apollo offers any guarantee to its tyres or not and if any guaranty is offered by you please take certain actions regarding my purchase and dealer so that in the future he doesn't repeat this behaviour with another customers.
Please reply to this complaint as soon as possible and make sure to replace the tyre.
