We brought new car (Toyota Glanza) 3 months back and by default we were provided with Appollo tyres. We travelled only with in the Chennai limits and we have driven only 2500 KMS so far. On 22/03/2024, i noticed that tyre next to drivers seat was looking like punchred and i rushed to near by puncture shop. They said that if it not puncture and we need to change the tyre.
Since it is brand new car, i rushed to Toyota showroom and informed them about the incident. They said, they will provide the details to Appollo Tyres and after inspection, they will justify if it is Manufacturing defect or not.
I was waiting for call from Toyota showroom and i never received any call. I went to them and they said we got report from Appollo Tyres and it is not coming under warranty.
To my surprise there was no physical inspection happened with Tyre and they sent a report that it is not coming under warranty. So they have predefined template for everyone that what ever complaints come to them they just send the report by just changing the customer name? Do this Appollo typres not having any kind of shame on doing this?
If 3 months old Tyre is not able to withstand Chennai road, what will happen if am going to take this car to hill stations and all.?
What is durability of this tyres? And I am surprised how company like Toyota is having partnership with such a local Tyre company?
