1. Ref BW40GEKXTMZC dated 11 May 2022.
2. I had submitted my phone on 11 May 2022 which is under warranty with some problems in the phone as mentioned in the above ref id.
3. Planet care Indiranagar told that it is due to corrosion whereas my phone had never fallen in water nor even exposed to water / rain.
4. I also read the Terms and conditions throughly and I couldn’t find anything regarding corrosion. However the in the apple community that is in apple discussions there was a question asked regarding corrosion of the port and the same also has been answered and resolved please check the screenshot attached below. Also in apple community an apple has also recommended that even for the accident damage it will be covered under warranty and shall be replaced.
5. Planet care nor apple support did not inform me or update me until and unless I asked for it? I called on 15 May 2022 and spoke to Deepika [protected] on this number and she told she will update or the technician will update which dint happen that day. The next day I again called her and requested to update then after that I Rcd call from +[protected] planet care at 11:00 and he told the warranty thing is denied due to corrosion and then I called the apple support and I spoke to kanika she told they had informed/ e-mailed them on 14 May 2022. Whereas a person who called from this number[protected] informed the mail was reflected today how is it possible. It is their duty to inform or keep me updated now I’m using the he spare phone I have and I’m in need of my phone a lot more things are there however let me end here.
7. After I’ve convinced them that the corrosion is covered under warranty and now they have come up with new problem that there is the dust internally and that is not covered now.
6. In view of the above it hereby requested to please solve the problems given in the description of my phone service record / job order Please look into the matter ASAP.
