Appsdaily — No claim approved even after 6 months | |||||
I got my Sony xperia z ultra phone insured back in Jan 2015 when I'd purchased it and it was liquid damaged later in June and Sony refused to repair it and suggested to have replacement with 80% of the cost..so I raised the claim online in crap appsdaily what I was recommended by my friend as a best option but it proved to be worthless.. my phone was picked by the executive on 22 June and that was it .. it never came back to me till now.. contacted people in customer services.. it was supposed to be done in one month time.. .. I chased the my phone over the last 6 months like a dog but every I every time I was advised to wait more 24-48 hrs.. In September, anyhow I was told that there was a lack of info given by me about the damage .. and asked me to send the clear picture .. however it was supposed to be done by the pick up deptt. so I had no clue what they were talking about.. but It was corrected later by the pick up deptt and all the documents were sent to sony service center to claim replacement .. what happened was, sony rejected the claim as their tie-up was expired with appsdaily and I was being grinded between them as a customer with no clue what was happening... which was informed to me 3-4 months later back in Oct.. so finally I was given a no. of a contact person Sunil by CS and was advised to contact him for further updates.. but all in vain the person hardly responded me after thousands of attempts of call back .. and he said that "oh it was too late it should have been done of the claim request" and now he doesn't even bother to respond over the phone. ... they have made my life hell with no info whatsoever .. I had been told once that the claim was approved however they told me that My phone (xperia z ultra) was not in stock so they will arrange similar phone like xperia z1 but after 1 month of wait nobody is picking up the phone .. the person can't contact on the phone as there is huge wait which took 30 min and still ongoing so disconnected the call desperately ...
