Complaint id[protected] I had bought gionee s plus phone for my daughter with apps daily insurance cover in december 2015. the phone got damaged in may 2016. lodged the claim with appsdail on 21.05.2016 and submitted at the office which is at 29, 2nd floor, sawarkar block, shakarpur, main vikas marg, delhi of apps daily on 23.05.2016 with a fee of rs.500/- for lodging a claim. the executive present at the centre informed that within 30 working days my phone will be received back. today it is 14.7.2016, no response is received from apps daily till date. i tried to know the status from the website, to which it only shows, "the service centre has accepted your phone". the status is same for the last 20 days. i tried to contact the executive on the customer care, he simply informed me that you would be getting a call or email soon. no further information. today i. e. 14.7.2016 tried to contact delhi centre, the executive is very rude, did not try to listen, disconnected the phone. tried further, but she did not picked it up. It is an expensive phone that is why i bought the insurance cover. i am really shocked about the conduct of the appsdaily. they do not want to listen to the problems of their customers. I had problem in lodging the complaint with them as well, the website was not working at that time, long waiting period (minimum of 25 minutes) to speak to executive and to my surprise the phone line gets disconnected as soon as the customer care executive comes on line. today also i tried their customer care number at least 20 times to which i am getting a reply "the dialled number could not be contacted at this moment" They have no specific replies to your queries and only standard answers. Please help me in getting my phone back. this conduct of the company makes me think why i have bought the insurance cover. it cost me first and then i had buy another mobile because in today's time you cannot live without mobile and to face this kind of harrassment without any fault of the customer. If i had known this, i would not have bought it not even thought about purchasing it. Today i learnt a lesson not to buy insurance for any product because in india insurance means harrassment to you nothing else. You lose your product as well as you face lots of harrassment, waste time in following up your matter and face rude behaviour of executives.
