when you buy anything more than 19$ usually there will be customs/duty fee charged as it is from a different country/continent. Shipping is different from Customs charge. They charge customs for allowing the items inside India & reaching it safe to you. The customs charge is about 25%-35% of Total money of the order. Suppose you paid 2000. 30% of 2000 is 600 Rs must be payed to the India Government.This has been happening for many years! If the product is make up its 35% of the bill.
That's how it works. And if you are lucky enough you might not get custom charges, but mostly 99% of people who order from international shipping sites are made to pay a whole lot of money in the name of customs. i have been there many times. So chill. Make sure your order is less than 15$ next time when you order from a different country.
