With reference to ashok leyland dost vehicle gj-01-du-5981

Firstly, i would like to say that we are facing immense service issues with ashok leyland lcv trucks compared to any other hcv/lcv we own. We are are logistics company carrying high value perishable pharmaceutical and lifescience products in temperature control and expect a high quality service from your end.

Whenever, wherever the vehicle is given for service, let it be for a short period or long, as we get the vehicle out from the garage, there is always a new issue generated, reason which we have to send it back again, as it cannot be repaired by any other mechanic other than ashok leyland.

Even after heavy maintenance cost we bear without fail, there is an additional heavy expense we are forced bear for all the other ashok leyland dost vehicles we own.
I do not see any ownership or responsibility taken by the authorised dealership. It seems the dealership are not bothered about the issue and finding a permanent solution. So, all we do is just pay the money and get it repaired, again the issue arises, again we pay and this issue is never-ending and there is nothing else we can do. I don't see a reasonable solution even after making sure of the maintenance regularly, without fail.
We then try to reach ashok leyland team, there is always a blame game from your end and no responsibility and reasonable solution is provided.

In our other vehicle (Mh-43-ad-6051) we have repaired, changed and serviced our engine paying rs.2, 32, 934 within the span of 1 year, hearing that all fault is ours and “sorry! There is no other solution” proving there is endless maintenance cost to the service work we do. Whereas the vehicle cost is rs.4, 50, 000. Once the engine was repaired, it was again changed due to failure, it was further repaired within a span of 1 year. The expense seems never-ending. Same is with all other ashok leylands we own.

With reference to above mentioned vehicle, regarding the present issue.
Date of accident : 09/06/2017
Location : sangareddy, hyderabad.

Vehicle given to he service centre at malik motors pvt. Ltd., boempally
On 09/06/2017 with km reading 195524
It was informed that vehicle will be ready by 20/06/2017 and was finally given on 22/07/2017
Last service done was with km reading 192404 on 24/05/2017 at yashoda automobile, chandigarh.

Before getting the estimate approved from the surveyer, the damage was checked by the dealer. We asked to check each and every affected part again, before finalising the estimate, which was reconfirmed that the vehicle was absolutely fine and the vehicle was dispatched from the garage. The vehicle from there, directly landed to mumbai. Enroute, there was emission of excessive smoke from engine and the vehicle was directly taken to pullani motors, kharghar (Another authorised service centre). There was again an estimate given of rs.80, 000 and a 15 days time. I tried reaching the zonal service manager and customer relations manager, i have never seen such a helpless reply from any company yet. They informed that they cannot do anything about this, you have to do as per estimate provided by the dealership.

My question to them and you is, after taking double the time as discussed for repair at hyderabad, why is there another estimate generated of the same amount. Does this mean that the dealers have all the liberty to demand as per their wish without feeling important to convey the reason, and putting complete blame on the driver and logistics company, even when heavy maintenance amount is put in on the vehicle. If that is the case why do you have a set of team pretending to be relationship managers and do nothing. I henceforth, will reach the consumer forum to help us out with this issue, where we are assured something else during the purchase, and the scenario is totally different ever after. Why does every dealership disowns their responsibility of any issue after it is taken out of the garage.
