Dear customer care manager,

This has reference to the refund amount as per details as attached. Before starting the painting job the full amount was paid to asian paints. After repeated follow with the concern guys at kolkata, the refund are yet to paid back to me. At least 100 wp messages are sent to him but no resolution.
Overall i have very bad experience with asian paints, it is being executed by most un professional manner. I could have done with 20 -30% less price with local contractor. Being a nri, very rare experience. I will never advise any of my friend to go for asian paints. Most horrible experience sofar.

    I ignored other customers negative reviews about asian paints online & am repenting!!!

    Asian paints takes my order for pu pallete paint on furniture and house painting as well. They have a sucking policy of 100% advance after which they'll make you act like a puppet in their hands. Going to the extent of putting blames on you for their clear faults. They would agree only if you get a second opinion from some expert to counter them, till that time they' ll keep on fooling around taking customers general awareness/logic for a toss.

    After the money is paid by me, they disappear – it is almost 2 months now:-

    - over due by 1.5 month
    - work is still pending,
    - quality is pathetic.
    - bloating on the walls after 1st coat. (Absconding for the remaining 2 coats)
    - bubbles on the furniture due to their inexpert staff, spoiling my furniture. Still not resolved
    - highly unprofessional with greed for money & no concern for quality or deadlines as per the contract & promise!

    I escalated to the ceo & md and sent 4 reminders – not one single revert. When the ceo’s attitude is like this, it shows the company is least bothered about customers coz :-

    1) the delay is not hampering you anywhere
    2) with the prolonged delay you feel that i would give up; as, a retail consumer is not as big as a company who can fight it out
    3) asian paints rsm who calls, is more interested in proving the customer wrong, argues baselessly, when the objective should be to find a resolution.

    Due to above reasons they are taking the customers for a ride and this is reflecting on their company’s culture and values.

    The contract order size is rs. 90k approx. Which for an individual is not a small amount. If you wish to save yourself from being harassed and trapped by asian paints, inbox me for proof on fb id:- [protected]@gmail.com

        I had recently handed over the painting job of my flat to asian paints home solution services. My name is soumita bhattacharya, site address – flat 33b, central park, ajoy apartment, 3rd floor, jadavpur, kolkata – 34.
        The sales associate’s name is joydeep chakraborty, the site supervisor’s name is pritam, contractor’s name is omkar roy choudhury.
        All payments were done on 28th june ’17 and the painting job commenced by 10th july ’17 and the contractor called me to handover my flat on 27th july ’17.
        I am highly dissatisfied with the work quality and the commitment of the asian paints stake holders involved in the work done. The painting is incomplete when being handed over and i hereby raise my serious grievances as follows. I have lodged a complaint at[protected] on 28th july ’17 with no resolution yet and the complaint number is[protected].
        1. My kitchen has some wall cabinets below the stove slab. The walls inside the cabinet are left out and not treated with putty / primer / paint. I found it on the so called hand over day. When i asked the contractor, he said there was no instruction to him to paint that inside cabinet wall. I was not informed by either joydeep / pritam / omkar earlier that it would not be covered in painting. The sales associate joydeep visited my flat on 31st may ’17 and hurriedly took the measurements in my absence. Since it was a month closing day, being a sales guy, he left the site in a rush after leaving the estimate and measurement sheet. Nowhere it was mentioned that the kitchen wall is estimated without the cabinet wall area. Later on 28th july ’17, when i called pritam, he too had the same version as the contractor that joydeep left no instruction of the cabinet wall area and i need to talk to joydeep. Both of them said if i wanted to get that work done, i need to buy them paint and pay extra labour charge and they would get it done. Mr anand….. Why would a brand like asian paints take up a wall & ceiling painting job if they do not cover the entire walls of the premise? Why does your brand do not adhere to transparent communication with a customer? As a customer, i have already paid the full amount much in advance as per the estimate provided, if the same was not covered in the painting job, your sales guys, site inspector & contractor could have intimated me. Now, due to the unfair trade practices, i refuse to pay any extra cost for the kitchen cabinet walls. The area is not much too. I request you to be guest centric and get the putty, primer, painting done in the cabinets prior to the handover.

        2. The drawing & dining room wall has been painted “cream pie” (Shade code l152) while a smaller bedroom is painted “orange frost” (Shade code 7978). Both the room walls have very novice and non-uniform finish, specially, the cream pie room. I pointed the same to the contractor on 27 july ’17, the day he called me for handover. He said the 3rd coat of paint was done that day in both the rooms and thus it’s showing uneven in low light. I later again checked in the evening with extra lights brought in to the flat and noticed the same uneven & unfinished work in both the rooms. The cream pie shade being white tone, it was very prominent. I was told in the beginning of the assignment that your painters are trained at some asian paints training centre. Is this their expertise? And if the painters are not trained enough, what was the so called contractor and site inspector doing all these days? If, as a novice, i could identify the unfinished painting, why not the site inspector? Later on 28th july ’17, as per the site inspector, he visited the flat and he found my observation correct. Mr anand…. That questions my trust in your brand. I handed over the painting job to home solutions with an expectation that your field guys are skilled. I request you to ensure the smooth finish of the walls.

        3. The site inspector, pritam, visited me on 28th june ’17 to accept the full amount. He said, he would be visiting the site every alternative day and update me with the proceedings. I received an update from him only once in the period from 10th july ’17 to 27th july ’17. He called me on 28th july ’17 again after raising my complaints to the contractor. Mr anand…if your site inspector keeps on visiting the sites at least once in some days, how come he is not aware of the unfinished job status? Is work integrity not valued at asian paints? How come the contractor calls me on 27th july ’17 for handover of the flat and later on 28th july ’17, the site inspector says indeed the wall painting is not well finished?

        4. While on my visit to the flat on 26th july ’17, there was 01 painter at the site called sannyasi. He said painting is not finished yet and another coat will be applied on drawing - dining room (Cream pie), small bedroom (Orange frost) & kitchen on 28th july ’17. When asked how many quotes and litres of paints were used in the entire flat (As i had asked the contractor to keep all the paint containers for me for garden pots and there were very few available), he said 03 litres in the drawing-dining room etc. On 27th july ’17, when i asked the contractor about the litres of paint consumed, he said 05 litres for the same drawing-dining room. Also, when asked the painter sannyasi about how many coats used on the walls he said each wall had 01 coat putty, 02 coats primer & 03 coats paint. Same question asked to the contractor the next day, contractor said 02 putty, 02 primer, 03 paint and he is not aware of the exact litres of paint used as they get a requisition already raised from sales team (Joydeep). Since there is a lot of inconsistency in their versions (Both working on the same site with the contractor claiming to visit the site twice daily), i find it fishy. As a customer, i demand to know the exact litres of paints used in detail in each rooms with their purchase bills and the paints used in each room.

        5. The contractor was asked to clean the dust deposit on the windows and doors before handover on 27th july ’17 and he agreed. However, on 27th july ’17, the same was not cleaned and i was called for a handover.

        I hereby request you to resolve my above concerns up to my satisfaction. I am not demanding much from you and only asking you to stand by your brand value and hand over me a complete expert finished job order. I plan to move into the flat by 7th august ’17 and i need the work to be done properly without any further follow ups and any extra cost.

          I was confirmed a slot from 4.30 to 6.30 on 17 august 2017 for an expert to visit my home to discuss the details of work and give an estimate. They called me several times during the day disturbing me in my work to check the booking details i guess, i am not sure why they were calling. Finally nobody turned up. I made several calls on customer care and finally a person calls up to state he could not visit today since the ' mapping ' of the area had gone wrong (Whatever that meant). It was frustrating. I was then told by some of my friends they faced the same issue with asian paints. They are extremely unprofessional, even not having the courtesy to inform they are unable to make it. I am now not willing to try their work. Cant imagine how much worse that would be.

            I have raised complain on 19th jun, 2017 against painting service provided by asian paint. Every time i dialed to asian paint customer care number, they said they will address the issue within 24 hrs but in reality they never get back. It is being one month almost i am chasing them to get a resolution but no response from them. It looks like they does not give any value to the customer. The service provider (Ezee color) service agent was never responding after the painting done. After all this i feel this guys are big cheater. I hope i would have been researched before approaching to them. Google review says very less satisfaction level on painting services provided by asian paints. It seems reaching to asian paint for painting services is just like wasting money. Can some one help me to lodge a consumer court complain against asian paint?

              During nov / dec 2016, i got my flat painted with asian paints for the entire internal portion with premium paint. Also got the terrace applied with damp proof coat to prevent leakage and dampening of the walls due to terrace leak. Asian paints company executive mr. Anirudh interacted right from the beginning and while making their offer, he promised that the asian paints for internal portion of the flat would be covered by 3 years warranty and the terrance damp proof coat would have the warranty of 5 years. I had the quotes from dr. Fixit and other competitors who quoted for 10 years warranty for terrace leak proof coats. Only on the assurance by mr. Anirudh of asian paints, i had awarded the contract to undertake the painting of my flat inside and terrace damp proof coat, till today i have not got the warranty card as per his promise despite of several reminders both on phone and via emails. The damp proof coat is not been effective since the walls started showing dampness due the very few spells in recent days. It is precisely for the purpose of arresting leakage and dampness of walls i had got the same done through asian paints since they promised and advertised on their websites.. Not despite complaining on the above over their website and registered complaints they are not responding. Hence i request you to kindly take it up with asian paints and resolve the issue in my favour since i am suffering despite spent huge sum of money for repairs. Regada raghunath g chennai

                I had contracted exterior paint service of asian paints, with the ultima protek paint, which is the highest quality paint been committed by asian paints.
                But after 3 months itself the paint started to worn out on the walls of the terrace and we had given the complaint but no response.
                Now in this month again we had raised the complaint but they are least responsible to service in the warranty period.
                Warranty period given by them is 7 years, but still only six months have passed and there is no service from them.
                Please initiate appropriate action.

                  Hello, i am getting asian paints royale shyne paint done in my home through an authorized asian paints dealer. It's in the final stages right now.

                  The problem i'm facing is that even the lightest touch of any object on the walls is causing the paint to go off and it is leaving a scratch mark.

                  I have experience using tractor emulsion but never faced such issue. It seems the walls have become extra delicate instead of getting stronger and better with a high quality paint.

                  Please help... What's going wrong??

                  I got a call from Asian Paints customer support day before yesterday and he said territory manager will call and visit my home in 24 hours to check out the problem areas. But no one has called yet. Hope to hear from him on Monday. Thanks.

                    I opted asian paints service for home painting, i was told that i will get royal autmos but it was not given. There were lot of issues in the painting, lot of painters were changes during the time and unskilled people were kept for painting which destroyed the look of my house. I sent complaints to customer care but didn't get any proper response. I don't know to whom i need to contact to get my money back which i spent on my painting as my new flat ceiling looks is destroyed by asian paints painters.

                      I have bought Nippon Attom exterior wall paint (20 litres).

                      My relative painter suggested that, Asain paint exterior wall ULTIMA is the best. It covers 7 years of warranty.

                      So, i have replaced Nippon and Bought Asian Paint ULTIMA on 11-Jun-2017 at Thirukalukundram (Shop owner name : Sridhar)

                      On 16-Jun-2017 and 17-Jun-2017, painter painted the ULTIMA (Light Grey).

                      On 18-Jun-2017 early morning 3:00 AM there was a light Rain droplets. After the rain droplet, at morning 7:00 AM i can see the RAIN drops shape and few rain water lines on all the exterior wall.

                      I took photo's of that and showed to shop owner sridhar. He visited my house saw those faded colors and said i will raise complaint. I will call to manager and help on this concern.

                      Till now, there is no response from sridhar as well as Asain paints responsibility.

                      After doing marvello plast on my washroom walls the labour started aeguments for cleaning after big arguments they took the large amount waste and kept it in middle way and asking for money and started big arguments although Iam a lady.Then I spoke to Shambunath than he started misbehaving on phone.

                        I have worst experience with berger express paint!

                        Around 2 years ago i gave contract to barger express paint to paint my newly constructed home and i meet mr. Mansoor ahmed (Vendor).

                        After a healthy meeting they asked rs.: 30, 0000/= to complete the painting work for (Ground + 2).

                        Their commitments:

                         will use latest equipment
                         experienced workers
                         will use best quality products (Paint, putty etc…)
                         will complete the work within 45 days.
                         will use color and pattern what you choose.

                        I would simply say, they have not completed a single commitment what they did.

                        When i called to customer care and get the complained registered against the vendor. I was shocked when i received a threatening call from a customer executive of berger paints where he was keeping me threatening that short out you issues with your vendor and if you complaint again we will stop my work, on the next moment again i received a call where all words were same just person was different and he was mr. Mansoor ahmed (Vendor).

                        Again i called mr. Mansoor ahmed (Vendor) and asked him to get the my work done asap then he asked that give me some cash as i have to pay to labors, spuriously i told him that why should i pay you more as i have paid already 245000 out of 300000 and hardly 40% work has been done from your side then he told me if you’ll not pay i’ll stop your work and he just called back all peoples were working there at my home.

                        After the incident i called him many time but he was keep saying that i’ll come tomorrow but his tomorrow never came for us. I also complaint against him but again no more benefit there, i don’t know what i should do ….

                        I have many word to say but i would like to end with the word that “berger paint is not only a fraud company but also an institution of cheaters people”.

                          This is to bring your kind notice that we have done work by asian paints at our residence in the month of september 2016, after two months most of the walls started getting discoloured and disrupted on its own.

                          Inspite of making repetetive complaints to mr. Animesh of asian paints there was no response from the company's end to make the problem fine

                          Mr. Animesh always promised to get the work done within 1 week but it was never done.

                          Now when we call the asian paints regarding our complaint they tell us that mr. Animesh has been promoted to another post and so some other person will be appointed for the job but till date no other person was appointed for the same and we are tired of making complaints in the asian paints for the same.

                          I request you to kindly look into the matter and help us with a solution.

                            I have booked asian paints color concepts in march this year.
                            They took around 1 month to complete painting in less than 600 soft area with very less manpower (Maximum days 1 person) and with no supervisor.
                            Now within 1 month they complete their painting we found several issues.
                            Wherever we drill in the wall a big portion of the area comes out.
                            Recently we have to work on the door but the surrounding wallputty is broken there.
                            We believe that very poor quality of material is used there.
                            We have raised complaint with complaint no: - [protected] to asian paints 1 week back but got no response yet.

                            Hi,
                            Ezycolour Home Solutions team visited our place and told us they will solve this with half days of work.
                            But yesterday I got mail that those issues doesn't come with warranty.
                            I have attached 2 image.
                            1.For the cracks they said this is due to vibration of the door but I could not understand how this kind of deep crack come within 1 month of painting and as per their opinion it is not come under warranty.
                            2. 2nd image shows in some areas color feded but they have not mentioned that.

                              I have contacted your local office Bangalore on 22nd April in connection with lying damp proof on the terrace and parapet walls. On 25th your representative Mr. Irshad visited the place and given a quotation of Rs.40, 402/- dated 25.04.2017 and requested me to remit the amount through your payment gate way. Accordingly I had remitted the amount on 26th April itsel[censored]nder BP No. 14329064. After remitting the said amount, I noticed an discrepancy in your quotation while allowing 20% discount and brought to the notice of your representative by E mail and requested to refund the excess amount collected from me. To my surprise, even after my several reminders over phone followed by E Mails resulted nothing. Hence this complaint. The work was entrusted to M/s. Radiant Enterprises, Bangalore and they have carried out the work with in 2 days and your official has even inspected the site and obtained my signatures on so many papers.
                              Two days back some lady has called me and requested me to give my accounts details to remit the excess collected amount.
                              In view of the above I request you to arrange to remit me the excess amount collected from me and redress my grievance without further loss of time.

                                Asian Paints is highly unprofessional company. I strongly advise to avoid it for any work. Not only they sent quotation for only part of work, but a bookmyshow voucher sent by them is found to be Invalid. First of all, this voucher worth Rs. 500 was sent by them may be to lure me as I did not ask for any such thing but when I tried to use it the voucher code was found to be invalid. Worst thing is that even after logging 5 complaints for completing the work and also explanation for voucher code, they log complaints but do nothing. Absolutely USELESS company or better to call a team of cheats, if that becomes the right word for them.

                                  I was looking out for a good wall paint company and so we called up to Asian paints chennai (colour tone) they came gave us the quotation and asked to pay in prior which we agreed and paid, now it's been 3 days they Are not taking the calls and not turning up. We paid to dhanasekhar and also complained to his bosses Mr Hari Haran and Mr pravin both have failed to convince us about the fulfilment of the promise and asked us to open the shop on Sunday which we opened no body came still been saying that the labours are on their way. It's been 3 completed days and still no response I feel liked cheated helpme out who to contact to. Also would like to request to take strict action against them if this site really active and not want others not to suffer

                                    We employed Asian Eazycolor to paint our home exterior. We paid in full in advance. The representative (Payel Ghosh) have done the initial design and there were some decision on colors. But the work supervisor Sushil Prasad is having trouble understanding the need. He does not understand Bengali. He does not come to our home at appointed hours decided and forgets the previous day's discussion points. He is painting in colours without discussing with us at all.

                                    The contractor Nirmal Pradhan is not following Payel Ghosh's design. He is almost always busy and whenever we call him, he says - "I am driving".

                                    We are very frustrated with prestigious company like Asian. After making full initial payment, this kind of situations we are facing. Please first bring all in the same page and then only complete the work. And, before painting, please tell the person to inform us.

                                      Its been more than a month i have applied and paid the money for a dealership. I have got the material but didn't receive the colour mixing machine and grinder yet. Because of which i am loosing my customer's. I am very much disappointed with the service. Whenever i call the area sales person he always says the machine is not in stock it's been a month and how come a brand like asian paints doesn't keep a stock for more than a month. Many times as there was no proper response from the sales person i had to shut my store and visit the asian paints office. The material which i have got is really not in a use for me without the colour mixing machine as the customer comes with his own choice of colour. Plz help me asap.                                         Considering our past experience of 3.5 years back we called on m/s. Asian pints marketing department and visit our home which is been done by marketing representative.
                                        Section, budgeting and other related points and requirements ere discussed at length and to our satisfaction and ensure to initiate the work by end of 1 st week of april. (We have 3 bed rooms kitchen, hall and passage)
                                        First payment was also released as assurance for execution.
                                        Your representative visited our flat on 8 th with painting contractor and after visit and some discussion they left for the day. (No work)
                                        Sunday i. E. 9 th painting contractor visited with two people (Around 11.30) and started the movement of house hold with covering of furniture
                                        Now today is 16 th day they could finished only two bed rooms, passage and two toilets very easy manners and with lots o[censored]nlined work let out and very unprofessional way.
                                        It is causing very inconvenience to our family and reported to the representative of asian paints but absolute no effects just promises.
                                        In past days two days no workers, three days only one worker a day and really we do not know how many more days are required to complete professionally???
                                        We will be leaving out of station in the first week of may and we all members are really mentally upset and will never ever suggest any one for asian paint and even think of the firm.
                                        I don know looking at the way it is processed even one could read such long complaint as the process of improvement???
