Hello! I am architect - suchana kamil. There was seepage from walls and ceiling at my mother's residence in bhopal. She bought ultima protek top coat, base coat, smart care dampproof, smart crack seal as suggested by asian paints technical advisorsent by kapoor hardware, indrapuri, bhopal. This work was done in march 2016. But when the rains started the problem remained the same. After calling the advisor he said there is leakage in the plumbing. If plumbing was the issue then we would have rectified it but why then he made us waste waste so much amount of money (Rs96, 000/-) in paints when he came for survey before the painting started.

    Colour failure....

    By looking at your color card for Apex Tile Guard, I bought 40 liters of MING RED color (0R07) for painting around 2000 tiles for my home. But, it was very disappointing to note that the color is totally different ( a kind of dull color) when it was applied, and that was agreed by your technicians who have visited the site. Again the result was same when the replacement (40 liters of Ming Red) was supplied by your people. It had costed us...

    We did Asian paints contract direct from the company in month of March 2016. We had requested for the seepage solution for 1 room and the drawing room too. The charges were quoted for the solution. The work for 4 rooms and drawing cum dinning room was completed within 15 working days, which was surprising and delighting too. Within 3 months ie in June that layers of paint started coming out along with paint also started coming out while we touch the wall. The major concern in in drawing room and the room on ground floor. We also noticed from these gaps that the our earlier paint is also not removed and there was no lapi layer below the new paid. We requested the dealer and the Asian paints customer care about the concern. After round of follow-ups with local dealer they visited our house twice (in Sep 16 and recently in Dec 16) with assurance of coming back with the solution. But till date we have neither received any solution nor any revert from the teams. We are very much dis-appointed and upset with such a poor response from a company rated Crisil AAA. We request immediate action with solution to close this long pending issue as the walls are looking ugly.

    We have approached asian paints for our home paintings..it been hardly 6 months since d paint completed, bt it starts damaging soon from d completion of work..hardly 2 months gone n d damage strts .at evry wall somewhere n somehow its been ruining. Hope we'll get some positive response

      Royale aspira & oil paint peeling and permanent stains

      I got painted my house from asian paints. Quality of work is useless. Nobody bothers to supervise. Complaints are ignored. Stains on roayl aspira are not washable. It gets peel of if tried hard. Oil paints on doors etc is just like painted by kids. Previous old coats of paints can be seen from new paint such thin coat. Cracks are resurfaced in one month but nobody is taking responsibility. If this happens in 30 days, am i to paint my house...

      I got the home painted from asian paints ezycolour home solutions. The service is pathetic. No supervision, no quality check... Work is not finished and no one bothered to complete it. It's been more than 2 weeks that they have finished work from their side but still incomplete.

      I raised a complaint on 9th nov. The complaint number was issued after a reminder on 17th nov. Till date no one has contacted to understand the issue. I don't know by when the resolution will come.

          I sadly inform you that your brand is on stake.

          I got to know one of your contractor named raju, who painted the asian royal paint in my house and he unable to do his work on time as well as we are facing many issues regarding his work.

          Initially he asked and taken enough time to complete the paint (within 15-20day).

          Although this time is more than enough but we agreed with it.

          After completion the given time period (20days), huge work were still pending.

          He asked few more days (around 10days) for completing his work.

          This happened due to non punctuality as he gave many false issues.

          As all these harassment, he completed his work which is again untidy and non finishing..

          Inshort, i am totally unsatisfied and very dissapointed with asian paint services.

          I want some from asian paints visit my place and also refund my genuine amount as he taken 50 thousand rupees.
          And according to his work and costing, he used 25 thousand rupees for work.

          I hope you will never ruined your brand name with this issue and complain.

          Looking forward for your earliest revert.

            I painted my home just 1 month ago with 2 x 20 litre buckets of Asian paints tractor emulsion. but i was surprised to see the faded color of exterior area within one month, the color was almost gone. also it is not washable. when i put wet hands on it, the color comes off in my hands. But the last hall which i paited with 4 litre bucket of tractor emulsion, it was perfect and washable too. The 20 litre bucket seems to be the mixture of chalk and water while the 4 litre bucket was what i wanted.

              Same color code is giving different shade

              Asian paint Royal High Shine have problem we have buy the paint and after applying on wall our wall become ruff then we have complaint with Asian paint (No[protected] then their guy Uday Chauhan has come to our place and he told we need to re-apply the wall puti and need to repaint it. we have done the same we require more paint for two walls then we buy same code but it is giving different shade and our old problem was also not resolved....

              Got painting job done in october 2015. warranty no/job id: pun1503819 and pun1503819. paint started peeling few months ago, called the contractor several times & finally filed complaint with ap on 5th oct'16. got complaint no:[protected] and empty promise that "our rep will visit your premises in 2 or 3 days time". nobody came till18 oct'16. so again called customer care no & as usal got standard response that "all our executives (!) are busy, we will cal you later" & the phone got diswconnected. (this is what happenes when you go to claim warranty!") once again nobody called, so got online website of ap & filed complaint again on"live chat"with miss aparna on 18 oct'16 & got the stock answer saying"aparna: i shall forward your details on an urgent basis and you shall receive a revert from our relevant department at the earliest."
              Today is 28th october 2016 and nothing has happened so far.
              Absolutely pathetic response to customer complaints. shameful behavior from asian paints.

                Dear sir,

                I got my flat painted last november 2015, by your company, complete painting work was carried out the your company staf[censored]nder your company's supervision.
                One year gaurantee was given to any damage (Flakes, bubble etc) or discoloration the paint during the said tenure.

                However, within one year, ceiling paints starting showing discoloration and flaking. This has given lot of mental pressure as how come this has happen within this short period and that too when the complete work was given to and carried out by asian paints.

                  Dear Team,

                  We have used your Asian Apcolite paint for our internal walls at my Flat in Golden Enclave Zirakpur (Pb).This is regarding paint patches & repair work marks visible on the wall surface of my Drawing Room.For which I had logged a complaint also, complaint number[protected] & your engineers Mr Rohit/[protected] visited at my home & compensated 1 liter paint for 2 more coats on the walls & assured the wall will be OK after it.
                  Already 4 coats has been applied on it in addition to repair work & 2 coats of primer.

                  Now 2 more coats applied on his suggestion but even after 6 coats of paint,
                  patches & repair work is still visible, very little result came.

                  Approx Rs 6 to 7 thousand cost occurred on this single wall but still unsatisfactory.

                  Kindly arrange visit again & suggest us to overcome the problem.

                    Work contract for repainting of complete interiors of a three bed room flat was given to Asian Paints under their ezycolour home solutions. The contract work was executed from 16-29 Apr 16 using waterbased Royale Luxury Emulsion paint under customer code 12488352, Warranty No/Job ID No PUN1503152 by Shree Services Pune for a payment of Rs 94, 000/- .
                    The work was completed on schedule and seemed reasonably satisfactory except that the assurance that the work will be carried out without any dust was quite misleading. For the complete period we had to bear the dust and muck as their clearing up at the end of the day was hardly satisfactory.
                    After a couple of months we noticed bubbled streaks emerging on some of the walls and in another month or so we noticed similar situation on most of the walls. We called the Asian Paint supervisor Santosh who opined that the bubbling has occured because the surface cracks have not been properly filled and these will have to be attended to again. He however advised that it would be better to undertake the work post monsoon.
                    Our efforts to contact Asian Paints over the last month have so far not borne much fruits. Calls are mostly not attended to. We have been told that a technical expert has to inspect the place before the work can be undertaken, but he is very busy and has not been able to find time to come here.
                    The overall experience has not been satisfactory. One had opted to get the work done through a reputed company like Asian Paints rather than some small time contractor with the expectations of a hassle free professional job. Unfortunately it seems we were not realistic in our expectations.

                      Dear Sir,

                      Kindly refer to my complaint No.[protected] dated 22nd July, 2016 vide which it was intimated that the services given/provided by your Executive and Contractor are not upto the mark. The services was undertaken regarding seepage problem in the wall. The case was that your Executive visited my house on dated 18th June, 2016, seen the problem area and the issue and then he raised/submitted the quotation of Rs.7309/- for the work and intimated that after the completion of the work, you will not face any problem related to this in future at least for two years. Based on the quotation, Rs.7309/- was deposited online on dated 20th June, 2016. Accordingly, the work was carried out between 21st June to 26th June, 2016 under the supervision of your Executive. The name of the service provider was Kandarp Traders.
                      After a passage of few days, the seepage again came in the wall, thereby, complaint was lodged on 22nd July, 2016. Thereafter, after lodging the complaint, your Executive named Mr. Amit called me number of times and assured that he is coming on such and such time, but he never turned up and this instance happened 4-5 times. This caused lot of frustration to me. However, on one day around 12th August, 2016, he came with one person, who checked the site and told that this problem will be solved with the passage of time, must be in 10 days. On 23rd August, 2016 we again had discussions. As the problem was not resolved he told that he will again come and fix the timings, but he did not turned up. This dilly- dally attitude of your Executive was so annoying and caused me lot of harassment, frustration and wastage of time. Thereafter, one day, without my information, he visited my home and checked the site and the problem was still there and he was not having any solution for resolving it. Now after having lot of harassment, deficiency in services and non resolution of problem, I am serving you the final notice that either my amount which I have paid to you may be refunded with interest or I may feel forced to approach to the Court for justice and seek refund of my amount with interest, litigation charges and the compensation for mental harassment, mental agony and wastage of my time for your deficiency in services and negligent attitude towards customer satisfaction.
                      It is requested that the amount paid by me may be refunded within 15 days, or otherwise, I shall have no other option other than to approach to the Court for justice.

                        When i applied i see the color on my wall different from the color shown in the asian paint tractor emulsion catalogue.
                        What i see in my wall now is eager yellow 7906 color

                        Your representative Mr.Balakumar from kanyakumari district came to my home checked everything around 1100 hours on 06.10.2016 and told me he will reply by 1500 hours but he never called. When I called him around 1700 hours he never replied but sent a sms stating he will call back but never called. Today morning I called around 0900 hours but he not answered. I called him again at 1100 hours. Then he answered and told me Royale Shyne candle wick 7907 supplied is correct only as per my order. When I asked him why the color on my wall after applying is completely different from the painted color shown in the Asian Paint Tractor Emulsion catalogue for which he said color need to be chosen from a card in the paint shop.
                        Why I was given these catalogs and different charts for which Mr.Balakumar has no answer.
                        I already had problems with off white enamel paint which when painted Ivory color. Then white paint was bought and mixed 1:1 ratio after that also we not got desired color. We had told that we do not like Ivory color and we were given catalogs to order.
                        Now basis of the color shown in catalog we as a family sat together chose the color and ordered.
                        Why it was not told that choosing color had to be done by going to paint shop and looking at the chart which is the instruction today by your representative Mr.Balakumar.
                        I am a customer. I chose color as per catalog supplied by Asian Paint Dealer. When the color I chose is not seen on the wall who is to be blamed.
                        Mr.Balakumar instructions now to me to buy again paint and apply over already painted 30 liters area is not acceptable.
                        I have a 4 litre unused paint drum which I refused to give back just now when paint dealer came to my home paying only for that 4 liters
                        What about remaining 30 liters and painter wages for me to paint again the color of my choice?

                        Nothing done to resolve the issue except Mr.Balakumar telling his superior that Asian Paints is correct in supplying what ordered by the customer.
                        Why a shades booklet with color code below each combinations of shade given by Asian Paint to customers if color choice need to be ordered from a different chart. Why the paint dealer gave me this booklet for ordering?
                        Why he took orders when he has not given actual color chart for ordering

                          I have purchase paint from kanchan enterprise, rakibul alam (Territory sales officer) jirat bus stand, hooghly-712501. They were refused to provide me the bill. My painter used the paint but found result not up to the satisfaction, my painter gave his view that quality of paint is not good. I request to depute your team to check whether the quality of paint is not good or it is a fault of our painter...

                            Asian paints collects all money in advance and do not match colour to the selected shade and for further matching require more money.Supervisors and managers do not even answer calls and behave rudely and unprofessionally not interested to solve problems but only interested in collecting money. Wish we had never gone to them in the first place.It is much better to get paint work done by normal contractors instead of such companies who are also sub contracting to other contractors

                              I have purchase paint from vaishali paint, sector 5 vaishali, ghaziabad-201010. They were refused to provide me the bill. My painter used the paint but found result not up to the satisfaction, we used 2nd time but failed to get good result. My painter gave his view that quality of paint is not good.                                 I have called the Asian paints customer care for taking estimate & execution for painting 2500 sq. ft. They have given appointment Date and person name who will visit my place but no body visited the site.

                                This is truly disappointing to see the response I am getting from Asian paints. I need someone to take the ownership and move forward my request Which is pending from last 2 month with no response & multiple reschedule appointment. In recent case I had an appointment with Asian paint executive “Ujjawal” on 24th between 14:30 to 16:30 but as always happened executive did not turned up and when I made a call to know the status I got a blunt response that he was not aware about this appointment so he can’t come. After request he agreed to come but again he did not came.

                                This is so pathetic and un professional attitude seen and I am deeply feel that whether I should go with Asian paint or not. If this this something before to sell the product then what will be post support/services.

                                  Hi this is dhaval parekh. I have opted for the asian paints ezy colour home solution at place (ghatkopar)(east) before giving the contract to asian paints i was not informed about the sliding warranty. The sales person visited my place for atleast 4 times after giving him the cheque and getting the work started, after 6 days the supervisor comes and tells me about the sliding warranty and at that time i came to knew that i have been cheated. After complaining i came in touch with your CSO Mr. Hussain sheikh. He visited my place and explained me about the warranty but i was not satisfied with him. After few days i talked with Hussain and told him to remeasure my whole premise and after remeasuring the area written in quotation and measured afterwards was totally different in the quotation they had written 70sq. Ft more than the actual one. After wards i received a call from Mr. Hussain saying that sir aapko khaali 42 sq. ft ka paisa milega usse zyada nai. So i hd a long conversation with him and afterwards at the end he said to me that sir aapko jo karna hai karo jidar complain karna hai karo aapko paisa nai dunga. On that i asked him to send me him seniors number and he gave me the landline number of your service provider surya enterprises. And despite asking for several time i din receive the number. So this is my kind request to take action against the sales person and Mr. Hussain and let me know as soon as possible. And please do even teach your staff that how they should talk with the customer. And give them a training for that accordingly. My number is [protected].
