[Resolved]  Asian Paints — complaint against customer service and false commitments

Dear sir,

I am very much disturbed and depressed with the service of your team. I fail to understand how they represent a company like asian paints.
On 26th march i have discussed with one of your executive for texture painting in the drawing room of mine and accordingly he said that somebody will contact me from my locality.
Accordingly, mr joydeep chakroborty ([protected]) called me from your company and asked for an appointment. He came to my house on 31st march 2019 and checked the wall. Accordingly, he gave me an estimate of rs. 8500/- and have taken a cheque bearing no. 237211 amounting to rs.8250/- and a cheque bearing number 237213 for rs. 250/- with a commitment that his man will come start the work on 3rd april 2019.
Some person named pritam ([protected]) came to my house on 3rs april 2019 when i was in office. The wall where he was supposed to paint the texture was already repaired by my painter by applying surface paint and putti. Without consulting with me he scratched the upper layer of the wall and then called me. According to him there is a possibility of damp from from the ground which may affect the wall in future. So he suggested to have normal painting.
On further discussion he said that he cannot take risk for future and will refund me the money. He took my mail address and said mail will come to me with the refund advice by evening.
I have also asked him who is going to pay for the wall which he has scratched which was already ready for painting. He said that they will repair the same and will refund the amount which i have paid.
I have not received a mail from your end till now for the refund confirmation and repair of the damaged done by your team even after the commitment and repeat follow ups.
Both joydeep chakroborty and pritam are giving false commitments.
This is really disappointing as we always use asian paints for painting our house. Now i feel the company is not bothered about the customer service and the quality of staff doesnot have professional or corporate attitude.
So i have to write back to you to make you aware the quality of people you have in your company and customer service you provide to your customers.
Attaching herewith the two receipts provided by your company people.

Hope that this will be taken care professionally and my refund and repair should be initiated accordingly.
