[Resolved] Asian Paints — improper order taking, lackadaisical attitude of customer care

On 20th nov registered with asian paints office, mumbai to paint my house at chennai and got a reply that that a business associate will meet me on 22nd whose details will be sent to my registered phone no. As well e mail id. But no message was received. A local person contacted me and visited the house. I placed order for painting royal atmos in 2870 sq ft and tractor emulsion 1587 sq ft. While handing over an advance cheque for rs. 30, 000/- to the person i contacted their customer care stating that no information has come from asian paints that he is their representative. I got a reply that i would get the information soon. Nothing has happened. When i tried colour tones (A part of asian paints), i learnt the number given in wth website belonged to a private person and not colour tones. I tried to contact their (Asian paints) regional office, nungambakkam and found all the numbers given in their website are not in service. Finally i called again their customer care no., mumbai whose response was as bad as government office. They asked me to contact in the morning without even heeding my complaint and concern of having given a cheque for rs.30, 000/-. Even after making an advance payment, i am made to run from pillar to post to verify whether asian paint has acknowledged my order and receipt of advance.
