[Resolved]  Asian Paints — Inaccessibility of the dealer & lead time clarity

I have used Asian Paints services in the past and had repeated this based on the good experience I had in the past. However, this has not been the case this time.
Lead time issue: After assessment of the place for painting services, i was told the lead time will be one day. This is the third day and I still dont know how many more days it is going to take. The painters state, they have no idea on what is committed and they will take longer
Wallpaper: while the interaction with the person on WP was good (Chitra), the dealer (Manthan) has not communicated to me when this will be delivered. I am still waiting for a call back
Preparation: The last time around, all furniture was pooled together and covered in plastic sheets. This time, no such thing was done until asked. There is fine dust on all the sofas and speakers which i have to arrange to clean later. Some of the furniture was kept on the terrace and no attempt was made to move it back in post the job for the day. If it had rained or someone had stolen it, it would have been a loss for us
Paint types/ quality: the oil paint used in the kitchen has a very pungent smell. The painter is now saying i could have taken an alternate variant that has no/ lesser smell. Why wasn't this option provided upfront?
Communication: the dealer Manthan (mobile # [protected]) still remains incommunicado and does not answer any of my calls. After calling and messaging multiple times he agreed to call back over whatsapp but that still has not happened. I am unable to find an alternate number
Payment: 100% of the payment was made upfront though the dealer had stated 60% advance and 40% later. I feel if I had followed the split payment option, the dealer would have been forced to be available.
If the scope of work is too small for Asian Paints, they should refuse upfront. Based on the dealer experience, i am beginning to have a negative feeling about the brand.
If someone can look into this, and if this website does work, please have someone call me and give me a date when the work will be completed.
