My service consumer no :AA 91005962
Based on the reminder from Asianet Satellite Communication Ltd for the annual renewal for the service TV network for the period 2017-18, I attempted to renew the subscription on line in the company site. The offer mentioned in the communication was for 12 months subscription 2 month extra service will be provided. Hence, renewal was made thro online and payment was made thro my credit card for an amount of Rs 3480/.But confirmation from the company was not received immediately after the payment was made. Second attempt was made to renew and payment. The company didn't confirm the success of the payment.
But my credit card banker confirmed the payment made to the company twice for Rs 3480/on 14 th march 2017. When approached the company they are not responding properly and ready to refund the excess amount of Rs 3480/collected from me.

    Setup box replacement due lightning surge

    Recently there was huge rain and lightning in my area and due to this factor my Digital set up box was completely ruined.Mind due I have got light arrest facility at my home and all my electrical equipment's are safe from lightning since this set up box has got coaxial cable connection an external surge came through that line and completely ruined the set up box.I had formally filed a complaint against it on the very same day and so far there...

    My name is Eldho Alex
    I had purchased an Asianet Broadband Connection with the hopes that i can use high speed internet when i come back from office. Unfortunately Asianet Broadband Service is so hopeless that even when i give the Customer Care the information that i do not have internet, all they tell is "it is being taken of and wait for 24 hours !!"
    As per their system, they have told me that my complaint was registered on the 16th March 2017 . Till date it has not been fixed. It has been 7 days now !!! maybe they don't know what 24hrs signifies ???

    It was mentioned that they would sent a Technician to my house, that too only during THEIR WORKING HOURS, for that i have to take leave . I have taken 2 days off from my work for this to get resolved and till date no one has even called me back !!
    The Most Idiotic Thing that the customer care executive could tell me in response after calling for 6 times was, "Sir, if you have such a big complaint, please send a mail to their help desk email id !!!
    What Response should be given to this female ?? She could not even understand when i replied "Look Lady, to send a bloody mail, i NEED INTERNET !!!"

    The Service Team Office is Quite near to my Residence, on visiting them, THEIR RESPONSE was even more Wonderful !! "Sir, you cannot just come here and tell to fix your connection, you have to register a complaint on the Customer Care Number " This i have been doing for the Last 6 days !!

    The Asianet Team has swift response team only to collect the money from me as monthly bills !!
    Will Asianet reduce according to the number of days where connectivity is an Issue ??

    I require the help of the Customer Complaints Forum to help me get Justice for my Asianet Problem. The Connection details are (CN81562) and it is registered in my name "Eldho Alex"

    I dont want to talk to your Service Team as i find them too incompetent. That is the sole reason for me to take up this matter. Over phone your representatives give false claim and bogus promises.

    I am not reachable on my numbers ?? What rubbish !! When the modem Service Package was due for renewal, your team got me on phone and instantly charged me. Dont give excuses for jobs not done.

      The service provide by the asianet cable are very poor we are very disappointed with your connection you are a global channel but your service is very bad. i paid the whole year amount in advance always show signal not found ... most of the time the connection is not available so much delay to fix the issue... in the evening from 7:30 pm to go beyond 9:00pm the connection is not available this is the peak time for people to watch tv but there is no connection...

        Connection - broadband connection
        Package - asianet 20 - 20/10 mbps | 20gb
        Asianet - cost - rs. 1599.00 (Per month - yes! More than their published packages)

        Issue - broadband connection is irregular, constantly going off, poor connectivity, staff not fixing issue (Even when they are aware of the issue), constantly blaming local equipment, insisting we buy and use their equipment.

        Asia-net customer care are always blaming local equipment and make us constantly spend money to upgrade or buy new equipment that they source. (Same issue still continues! And they keep palming it off onto us).

        Unethical - they are very fast on collecting payments and very slow when it comes to fixing any issue. This is 'highway robbery' and very unethical. If we are paying for a service, we as senior citizens should receive said service! (E. G. It's like buying a 2 ton truck with a maruti 800cc engine that does not work and often filled with water instead of petrol.)

        Package cost - we are paying a premium of rs. 1599.00 that is well over their largest package published online - 100gb | 4mbps | rs.999!!! And yet providing substandard service (Dear asianet, you can check to see... Please tell me what my monthly average over the past year has been!)

        Other services - i have had to resort to buying jio connections in order to keep in touch with my family! Including writing this complaint.

        Evidence - so started maintaining a log and noticed it was their local server that was at fault and with the help of my son discovered that they were throttling services and providing very poor connection speed and up time speed. (That is breaching their own t&c and sla)

        Speed - the speed of the connection ranges from 5 kbps to 2.2 mbps. (2.2 mbps at 1am in the morning and that too for approximately 1-2 hrs every other day). I have never seen this service pass 5mbps!!! (Note: we are paying for 20/10 mbps)

        Customer care - over the past few months they have mentioned that the cable is faulty (The asia-net cable from the main junction box to our house). But no one attempted to fit it! One technitiion claimed it wire was wrinkled and straighten it out... But there was no change to the service!)

        Power level (As per cisco router 2100 - that asianet insisted we buy for rs.5190.00 on 10/7/2016) the receive and transmit power level are constantly fluctuating. Looking at the log you can notice significant issues! (The cisco router i have is on a 'dedicated' v-guard slender plus 600 ups)

        Fraudulent? - i am surprised that asianet claim to be the best broadband providers in kerala! It would be something to investigate!

Today is elction result day and am not able to view the TV channels. It is regret to note that Customer care personnel of your Palakkad cable TV office is not attending any call .I am dialing the your oice nos 2547348 and 2547347 since 8.20 onwards but no one is attending. If this trend is continuing from your palakkad office staff, I am forced to withdraw your connection withdraw your connection with immediate effect. Awaiting an early response from your end

            Hi, I am regularly watching Asianet serials along with my family, one of this is chandhamaza serial.very sad to see that in almost all episodes which I saw recently the child(as amrita child)is crying continuously, with child crying you are shooting .It's very cruel .I felt really sad and disappointed that Asianet being such a big channel is allowing such wrong thing s with a child.Is it allowed to such things.The child cannot defend herself by talking thats why she is crying, please do something, it's a request.

              In today's comedy stars season 2 episode ie of 24th feb 2017, the team performed a comedy on rape. Rape is a very sensitive issue and it was mocked on in a very disgusting way saying the parents supported the rape and what all nonsense. The team most certainly didnt use its brain while forming such a dumb skit and worst was all the audience laughing at this along with the judges!! i expected atleast a bit more sensibility from the judges Jagdish, Rimi & Shweta. Its very disappointing to see this #### as a viewer and I would really like if the authorities take strict action against it. Atleast some sensibility should be showed and that too when film fraternity is also going through a traumatic case of Bhavna. this was really disapointing.

                  I went to the Asianet Satellite Communications Ltd, Ushas Tower, 3rd Floor, Maidanam Junction, Varkala on 21st January to enquire about some options to upgrade to a faster broadband connection. As I need a higher connection for just a month, I wanted to know if that was possible.There were two personals sitting in the office who are supposed to attend to consumers, I suppose. The guy among them was so rude and his attitude was so insulting. He did not even pause to listen to what we wanted to know and handed over a notice, which by the way I can download from the internet service provided by Asianet itself. I went there personally to know about the possible connections and he was not at all ready to even explain. He was like, this is what we have. If you want, then pay 3000 and get out..he even asked, CAN YOU PAY 3000???!!
                  As a customer of Asianet cable TV for about 20 YEARS and internet customer for more than 3 YEARS, THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE.
                  When my sister asked, do you even know what customer service is..HE REPLIED THERE IS NO CUSTOMER SERVICE..THIS IS THE MAXIMUM YOU CAN GET FROM HERE. I would like to request Asianet to have at least minimally educated people to sit in their office as they are the ones who are representing Asianet to the customers. You really have to understand we DO PAY MONEY EVERYMONTH AND YOU HAVE SOME RESPONSIBILITY OF BEING AT SERVICE TO CUSTOMERS.

                    I have made a similar post regarding Asianet broadband ramping up pings on certain hours of the day, it has been a month and they still haven't resolved it and customer support is a acting like an actual potato when it comes to resolving issues.

                    Earlier I made a post on the same website and luckily they replied, but haven't changed or either thought of fixing, what makes it frustrating is that, on certain times of the day, it gives an amazing ping of 34 to 54ms on Indian and SEA servers, on the other hand, for the past couple of days the ping has been unbearable as it never drops down below 100 - 120ms.

                    This issue has been going on for a month and I would like to change to an another ISP if this continues.

                    I have attached various screenshots below to further explain to you what I am experiencing.

                    1. The ping on Mumbai Servers are considerably higher than it is supposed to be. I have opened up Task Manager for you so that to show you no other app is using up bandwidth.

                    2. The second picture is a tool that I use to calculate pings of servers on certain regions, while, ISPs such as BSNL and Airtel give less than 80ms, Asianet tries to not go below 80ms.

                    3.Third picture is a Peer to Peer session on Garry's Mod while connected to a computer in "Thalasery" who is on a 10 Mbit Railwire connection, he has made certain that he has not using any other app than Garry's Mod and I am having spotty connection to his system.

                    It has been a month and you have not made the least interest in fixing it. If this is not fixed in less than a month, I am happy to switch to a more stronger connection.

                      During november and december last year.. all users in triavndrum (kerala) have been experiencing poor pings.. upto 300 ms.. as i am an online gamer.. i am not able to play...in speedtest, i used to get 9ms.. now it is 300ms.. when i contact customer care.. they advice me to contact [protected]@asianetbroadband.in and they offer no response.. me and my friends are also experincing same problems.. and we already complained.. the issue was solved during the end of december... but now its back.. pls solve else refund.

                        I made a post a couple of days before saying that the connection that asianet has given me (Customer id: tv118940) has been completely unstable, with throttling, high ping at certain fixed times, dns changes, low speed and much more. I previously made a very extensive post about the issues that i am facing, upon contacting the customer service they even fail to recognize some of the terms i used which should be very well familiar to them.

                        They also changed the plan specifications and charges, nothing has been done to improve the integrity of the connection. I would like to either switch to a new connection from an another service provider or fix this issue.

                          I've been contacting asianet's customer service for the 3 to 4 weeks regarding the fact that there's constant throttling in the city of trivandrum on fixed time periods, which results in high ping and packet loss. This has been happening for over the course of 3 weeks, and asianet's customer service representatives aren't even aware of what the term "ping" and "packet loss" is. I know this issue has affected only the area of trivandrum because a couple of friends and i usually plays video games together, 3 weeks ago, my ping and theirs who're also using the same plan as i had an acceptable ping of 60-75ms right now it tops up to more than 200ms, ping is very important when it comes to pvp and multiplayer online gaming. Though constantly spamming your customer service only restarts the modem and doesn't change anything... Didnt expect this from the no1 provider in india :?

                            It's very sad to tell about your poor service. I have given complaint many times about the cable problem in my area in phone and also in your office. But not a single person came to enquire or rectify the problem. Now it's showing this msg.Now the only way is to take another cable operator's connection /you have to take suitable measure against this problem.

                              Hi,
                              I am sending complaint from karicode kollam, we are not getting asianet, asianet plus and asianet movies last 1 week. And when we complained about this to our cable operator they are saying its not their fault its asianet channel who have increased cable charge 100-200 per connection. Is there any genuiness in this case. Kindly revert on this.

                                Dear asianet,
                                I have taken asianet broadband connection on 19/11/16.my customer id is ca26006.they said that it has speed of 10mbps.and after connection i used it for downloading files.it has a speed of 400k/s .so i contacted to customer care .they said a small variation .it will done in 24hours.so iam writing in monday .the speed is not increased.so contacted to asianet they said that it only for browsing and watching vedios not for downloading.so i request to check on site.they neglect

                                my complaint is not resolved .its a BS speed continues.the speed is decreased to 65KBPS .remember it is a 10mbps plan.my customer id is ca26006.iam so angry about this BS connection .and one more thing about kozhikode asianet office.i call them to office directly and they tried to teach me about internet speed KBPS compare to kbps.iam not a child .iam a engineering student dont tell me about this.asianet office is so irresponsible .i want solution .otherwise i wii go to higher levels mind it...

                                  Will u please stop fooling audience through the stupid serials, all the serial story are same only name and title are different. plz do new programs instead of the it . There is a serial chandanamazha what's wrong with the writer and director i dont know plz take them to mental hospital .We have many artist in comedy plz put them as judge instead of rimi tomy, she is not eligible to sit in that position.
