Autovikas — A malfunctioned car delivered based on falsehood

we purchased Tata Nano twist XT model and its been 1 month today and we found out a that new Automatic version of the car is launched / going to be launched very soon. We insisted that we wanted to buy an automatic version of the car but the sales persons ( 4-5 of them and the head who at various points clained to have talekd to the sales head and the showroom head) and said that it can not be launched in 2015 and insidted on buying the exisitng highest possible model. First they started with off3ering sales discount of 50K and when we apporached for the ame, they said that was for one single piece manuafactured in 2014 which we did not like ( color). They repeatedly said that the car had everything same and no change had been made and when we insisted on buying the latest one but the automatic one, they said it will be launched in 2016. The next big thing we discovered after purchasing the car, that the car had a faulty Gearbox which is yet to fixed even though their workshop kep the car twice ( first for 4 days and second time one day) The third thing is that the car fuel economy is hardly 12-13 KM/L to which their argument was that the fuel effiiceincy will increase with usage but its been 500 KMs and the same meagre mileage. I would like to take up this case n consumer courts as I think they have sold a defected vehicle clubbed with falsehood in the sense that we were made to buy a a manual gear model which we insisted on purchasing an autmatic one. I am disappointed and despaired with Tata Motors whom I wanted to support it beng Swadesi and belonging to Ratan Tata, a man of words and wisdom.
