I m in Avadi, Kollumedu Village, Chennai - 62

There are about 5-10 street dogs in and around this locality which causes nuisance especially during night time.These dogs are chasing, keep following who are coming on the way. People & Childrens cannot walk on the streets in Night time. The Night shift persons are very badly affected. It’s very difficult for us to come across the street during night time. So some persons Killed a dogs,
Kindly take an immediate necessary action on this and help us to survive a safe life on nights. Hoping you could take measures on our problems,

We are residing in (ward 3) 3rd Street, Sway nagar, Kovilpathagai for last 17 years. Recent times few of the residents were leaving their sewage on the street road which causing serious health Hazard. We are facing issues like mosquitoes, pigs, bad smell and slippery road etc. We afraid of getting dengue and malaria like diseases. We request the municipal commissioner to take immediate tough action. As prevention are better than cure.

Kindly note that lamp post near Plot No. 3100 in Housing Board has very weak Basement. Many Small children are there in nearby location. Due to Varadha Cyclone the pole has been worst. Many electric connections has been given from the same pole. On visit of government officials they said that they will not change the pole unless it falls down. what an irresponsible answer. If anything occurs in the future, electricity board will be blamed.
Request you to kindly look into this matter and change the pole at the earliest. Request you to reduce the load in the pole also.
Till now nobody has visited the area. If not attended, please share the higher officials number and contact details to escalate the matter.

I am resident of below area i complain you about increasing stray dog menace in pockets of avadi they have created huge local population & diseases.
And day by day the stray dogs are increasing where the street dogs are more at the road while it is difficult to walk on the road.
There are more than 30 to 40 dogs are surrounding on our area. Its really risky to drive a bike on late night, on day time itself feel scary.
We have couple of stray dogs in our street that chases everyone on the street. For the walking goers near annanur station road we face a hectic problems with this stray dogs.
We would request you to arrange to remove the stray dogs from our entire circle.

Am a resident of kamaraj 4th cross street, gandhi nagar, avadi, chennai. Roads were never laid here for the past 15 years, shamed to say that chennai is a city and there is no drainage facility too. Only my street is left behind where as all other surrounding roads were laid.. no response on the complaints raised in person with the avadi municipality about street lights too. I hope atleast this complaint will not go into the garbage box as is the case with the ones with the municipality.

Street light fault on post no.7 of 2nd street, 9 of 3rd street, 5of 9th street to be rectified.st.light fitting removed from 1st poll when it fall during October 2016 & new poll laid.sofar the tube light fitting not yet fitted on post.and MC B to be fixed on st.light control panel box. Every time we are informed to your tech.people sofar not yet done.please arrange to depute suitable persons above work.MCB & tube light fitting available with us.Thankyou . I'm a resident of Behind Mosque Street, Kovilpathagai, Avadi, Chennai - 600 062 and Gazetted Officer Min of Defence.
Sir in this street we don't have proper sewage lines.
As a responsible resident, sewage water is pumped from my plot to the nearby sewage line southern side of the Mosque by
running a 3/4 inch long pipe once in two days since the construction of my house and also regularly paying house tax and other required payments to the Avadi Municipality.
It was noticed that the neighbours are letting the sewage water in the streets rather than provisioning a proper way (Photos are available). This results in stagnation and breeding of mosquitoes resulting in severe health problems.
In this regard 3 officials of Avadi Municipality alleged us stating that we are letting the sewage water in streets with out proper enquiry on the issue. Also i've got enough photo proofs for proving my innocence and identifying the actual problem creator.
In view of all the above i humbly request you sir to kindly probe into this issue and provide a proper sewage line. If not possible immediately, please kindly suggest the way to let the Sewage water to the nearby sewage line safely without causing nuisance.
Further it is requested to inform the officials who came yesterday to be unbiased towards the complaints to avoid them allege the innocent and set a bad example and create a wrong opinion about your esteemed office.
Also such wrong allegations cause mental torture to us and develops friction among the residents.
Necessary photo proofs can be submitted at any time whenever requested.
Sir I hope your office will consider our issue and provide the residents a conducive environment to reside safely in sound health conditions. Thank you sir.

Mosquito population is more in my locality due to neighbour taking the column kuzhi but not filling soil and its full of sewage water. I have a kid of 6months old he can't sleep at night bcoz of mosquito problem. . I can tolerate and adjust but think about my kid. We worry about viral disease which spread through mosquito.
Kindly take some action and reduce the mosquito population.

The following street lights are not worked from 24.10.2016 at our uzhaippalar
Nagar, pattabiram (45th ward) kindly arrange to rectify the defect or replace the
The tube lights. also tube light set to be refixed on first post of 9th street which was removed from the fallen poll. fitting are with us only bulb to be replaced. then the mcb to be fixed on control pannel box on 8th street for tube lights controll for 8th & 9th street. mcb available with us pl. send suitable tech. person for the above 2 work pending for long time. on 3 light poll of 8th street only one light worked out of 3 three. all three bulb 7 chocks changed only on 28.09.2016 only. it has to be rectifed.

9th poll on 2nd street, 5& 7 poll on 3rd street, first poll on 6th street, 6th poll on 7th street, 3rd poll on 8th street, 1& 5 of 9th street. please arrange to send the tech. personal & rectifed the fault.

My name is vidhya from saraswathy nagar, thirumulaivayil, chennai. Our street there is no road.Always dirty water. In rainy season all of them suffered to going office and schools. Bcoz of this conditions our street childrens always get sick.Now a days we are afraid about dengur fever. Please visit to our place and take imporatant actions and do the needful for us.

My father (r umapathi s/o s raju) was a stage 4 cancer patient and passed away due to caridac arrest on 6 oct 2016 at sri sudharshan hospital, avadi. the hospital applied for the death certificate on the same day. but till date, we have note received the certificate. every time we visit the avadi municipality, one or the other reason is been told for the their delay. we are already emotional down, above this we are being shuttled. if we don't...

I am from manikandapuram, in our area manikandapuram street have been increased & frequently disturbing the humans. It is biting the childerns & even the adults. Pls do the needful for reducing dog bite in manikandapuram. We struggling a lot due to this pls take necessary action to reduce the street dogs in the surrounding area.

Sewage water from residences and streets ahead of my Vacant plot No.11/ Survey No. 311/1 at Thendral Nagar(East), Thirumullaivayal is diverted to flow into my plot, causing stagnation for the past few months, . This pollutes underground water in my plot and nearby areas. Causes health hazards. Likely to cause damage to compound wall and buildings nearby. Stagnating water needs to be pumped-out immediately to avoid breakout of epidemics. Sewage water should be diverted and connected to drain pipes at the source stage itself to prevent water from flowing to low level areas creating civic problems. Matter already brought to the notice of the Councillor, Ward 8, (Thirumullaivayil) but to no avail.

I request that the civic problem may be addressed immediately in the interest of the health of the residence living in the area.

Hi, Water staging in my locality and other subordinate areas for more than 15 years and we have raised many complaints to the Avadi Municipality for the past 15 years till now no officials have taken the action.We have using the road with staging of dirty waters which have mixed with snakes, frogs and other insects.Most of the school children's, works and senior citizens surveying in our area.It is really frustrating and seeking uncomfortable to our daily life.Kindly take action against this issue and do our needs for our locality.

I live in JB Estate 24th 2nd cross st. Count of street dog has been increased and causing trouble . Few dogs are infected and attacking people passing this street. People who return late from work are affected mainly.There is also a school nearby and the kids are really scared of these dogs. Kindly arrange to isolate these dogs from this street as soon as possible. Thanks in advance.

I would like to bring to your notice of the block of road by the street hawkers in South bazaar near railway gate at Pattabiram.
Post railways constructing safety wall .the hawkers have now occupied the road thus blocking the passage.
The commuters are finding it difficult either to turn their vehicles.
The Auto stand. Flower and fruit hawkers have literally blocked the way which is leading to unwanted accidents.
Requesting authorities to look into the issue before it gets to a ugly situation.

Mosquito population is more in my locality. I have a kid of 4months old he can't sleep at night bcoz of mosquito problem. We have 4 fans, mosquito net, mosquito coil, then even mosquito bites. I can tolerate and adjust but think about my kid. We worry about viral disease which spread through mosquito.
Kindly take some action and reduce the mosquito population, thrice in a week apply Anti mosquito chemical.
Take some action as soon as possible. We trouble a lot over here.

In our Nagar west end of 4th street, Near School Three Light post has been installed by Avadi Municipality . it has been fall on heavy wind three years back.we have requested several times in person & thru our ward Counsilor Mr.Sathishkumar. recently on 12th Aug, we met Chairman & given our representation, and he has given instruction to the concern Section Staff & also th the Concern Contractor to complete the above pending work for the past three years..In this regard we have sent our above represntation to the Commissioner also by Regd.post on 12.08.2016. even now no one has come to excute the above pending work.
May I know the action taken on receipt of our above representation.& request once again to arrange to reinstall 3 light post .
