The road of my apartment is severely water logged after the rains as it is next to the river and behind the Municipality park. Kindly take immediate action to remove the stagnant water.

I am raja, residing at no.49, 3rd street, thamarai nagar, thirumullaivoyal, chennai-62. Next to my house, we have one empty plot, there water is stagnating for more than five months, additionally, next plot owner has around 20 cows and they pouring the cow dung in that water. Bad smell is coming and our well water too get polluted. They are in political party, and we are afraid to ask to remove also. Kindly take some action.

Dear Sir/Madam,
When will we get connection to the centralized drainage system?
The canals that were constructed long back have been encroached by residents by extending their houses over the canals. When they are building houses, they have left lot of sand, cement into the canals due to which it has been blocked and the drainage water is flowing back on the road. It is smelling very bad. Not able to sit inside our houses.
We are trying to clean it ourselves. But since the sand has completely blocked the pipes, it is being very difficult for us.
Please send someone to work on this as these canals should be cleaned up. It would be very much helpful. Also please instruct the residents who have encroached the canals to be very careful and they should not put any such sand or cement.
And please instruct all the residents that they should not put any gutter inside the canal.
This is the reason for blockage of drainage.
It would be great if immediate attention is given and action is taken immediately.

Just opposite to my there is a house and they are dropping their sewage water on the road and it's logging infront of my house.its happening more than 4 years and continues still. I have asked them to take necessary steps but they have not done it. Also they are fighting with us. Since the sewage water smelling bad also our children's got allergies and admitted in hospital. I have sent many complaint to our counselor ward no. 46 and also to avadi municipality but no use. I am facing the same problem

Pls take necessary action. If required I shall give written complaint to Avadi Municipal corporation.

The maintenance of the garbage disposal site in Vaishnavi nagar main road is very sub optimal. With only four bins that get filled up within hours it is very difficult to manage the garbage load. Most of the times the garbage is seen overflowing and coming on to the adjacent road, sometimes covering half the width of the road. Because of this there is dog and cattle menace here. At least another four bins are required to manage the current garbage load. Kindly look into the matter and get it resolved through the concerned department at the earliest for the welfare of the residents of Vaishnavi nagar. Thanking you,

The growing population of stray dogs in our area is not only a nuisance but also a threat to the safety and well-being of our residents, especially children and senior citizens. These dogs roam freely in the streets, and in some cases, they have shown aggressive behavior towards pedestrians. This situation is putting our community at risk.

Furthermore, the issue has escalated to the extent that it is affecting our daily lives, as these dogs have taken to loitering right in front of our homes. This not only disrupts our peace but also makes it challenging to go about our daily activities.

I kindly request your urgent intervention to control and manage the stray dog population in our locality. We need a comprehensive plan to address this issue, which may include initiatives like sterilization and vaccination programs, increased patrolling, and public awareness campaigns.

I believe that with your support and immediate action, we can create a safer and more harmonious environment for the residents of our locality. I urge you to take this matter seriously and expedite the necessary measures to resolve the problem.
