I opened an axis asap savins account in my hometown delhi a few months ago.
Yesterday i got a message and email saying that my asap account has been closed due to incomplete kyc.
There are two reasons i could not complete the kyc in time. First, for a few months i was studying in mumbai, and second, i am now unable to go back to delhi because of the lockdown.
I can find no way to reach customer support about my specific issue, because their complaints redressal service does not have a specific field for asap accounts being closed. Also, i cannot reach their customer helplines for any help or guidance about how to resolve the issue.

Complaint marked as Resolved The issue is now RESOLVED:
Axis bank sends a Demand Draft with the account funds to the registered address in a few working days. It was delayed by some weeks due to the pandemic.
I was also informed by my branch (I went back to Delhi to resolve the issue) that I could visit any Axis branch across India and they could give me the Demand Draft directly, on behalf of Axis Bank.
I would still have liked at least a month's notification about incomplete KYC, and I would have also liked instructions about what to do when my account was closed--a one-line email would have helped. However, on visiting my branch, they were very helpful, and promptly resolved my issues.
Axis Bank customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
