I am an old customer (69 years old) of axis bank with savings a/c at thakur village with more than 35 lacs fd's at kandivali branch, mumbai and current a/c for my business at delhi.
I handed over my fd of rs 20 lacs to ms krupa on morning of 6th mar 2020 as it was maturing on that day. She assured to credit the closure proceeds to my a/c immediately.
I again visited the branch on 7th and reminded ms krupa who again promised to do the needful.
I again visited the branch on 9th morning, when ms krupa again assured to do it. Since it was not done till 12 noon, i called up ms priyanka, the bank in charge that day, & complained her who also promised to look into it & credit the amount.
Since i had issued the cheque to some one and the credit has not happened till 4 pm, i again had to visit the branch. Still the things were being taken very casually. When i made a little noise then only priyanka came to krupa and at around 4.25 pm. The amount was credited.
I am very sorry to note the lacadiasical attitude of axis bank officials at thakur village branch, kandivali east.
I have decided to discontinue my business with axis bank
